FF7 managed to increase about 3.5% from the end of its board vote to the end of the power hour. CT managed to that in half the time so far. The heck --- A refusal of praise is a desire to be praised twice. |

I think CT's total domination is directly causing YI to not pull away from Earthbound. This is scary strength here. --- Donkey Kong Country 2's path to Best Game Ever '09. Not even 10%? What is wrong with you people? At least SMRPG and Goldeneye moved on. |

Well, the Power Hour is traditionally Crono's best time, and FFVII's
worst. And apparently YI has a really good board vote for some reason

Okay, red sox don't go crazy just yet. I'm pretty sure the consensus is
YI sucking now. This match, imo, says nothing about CT so far because

I still don't see how it will be FFVII > LttP instead of vice versa
... I didn't even think about that one and and i strongly believe LttP
will pull first in that poll .. Am i underestimating FFVII here or

So Yoshi's Island is indeed a flop. Won't have any trouble beating EB but that's saying nothing. Match doesn't really tell us anything about how much Chrono Trigger's dropped, since EB has probably dropped as well and YI is unknown. --- Save_Us.RAT BREAK THE BLOCK DOWN |

Yoshi's Island can probably recover to the point where it beats Doom's
percentage on EB (EB's probably frontloaded and what else could
possibly win the ASV), but I guess we'll see. It looks pretty awful at

This is pretty crazy actually, now that I think about it. I would've probably taken YI > EB if Super Mario 64
was in the match. To falter so hard when the top tier entry in the
match is more likely to take away from EARTHBOUND as much as anything
else... EB's got to have more strength than some (*cough*) gave it

I'm wondering if CT will plummet with the morning/afternoon vote like
Crono does.. Crono has been known to drop nearly 6% in those times..

Now granted I"m not going to be the most mature person when it comes to
Yoshi's Island, since it was my pick to get in this contest, but why
don't we wait until the day vote and after school vote before declaring
it a failure. Chrono Trigger should be impressing here, it's always
