I'm starting to think that the 4-way format was more of a lame excuse
to get more turbofodder in the contest. Except for Pong, the last place

For what it's worth, FF7 is getting 88.35% on Suikoden now compared to 85.63% on Suikoden 2 in 2004. Not bad! Also, I expected SF64 to keep it closer than this. It was never going to be close to MK64, but...man, it deserved better. --- Prototype Shorthand, do you speak it?! |

I didn't expect much out of Star fox! Uhh...considering how pathetically weak both Diddy Kong AND DKC2 are,
I'd expect Diddy Kong Racing to get killed by Star Fox 64 without much

Yoshi's Island probably does the best in Europe in that match. Not that
it'd be any good in Europe normally, and Nintendo tends to die during
those hours, but Europeans will look at the games, not recognize any of
them, and vote for Mario. But hey, Europe has supported every SNES RPG
so far except for SMRPG. CT just came out in Europe....why not? Yes

It faltered with the ASV in just about every match last year (and not
just against Crono and Snake, though those were the most notable
cases). FFVII's ASV seems to have fallen off a bit last year, or
perhaps its late night/Europe vote became stronger, but either way, it
no longer quite rises through the whole day against opponents with
strong ASVs. It's second night vote is still amazing though, so
hopefully it'll be able to hang onto or get back to 55%. --- Link he come to town to win the Gamefaqs Contests. |

SF64 > DKR for sure (the Rumble Pack Factor!). We've seen Diddy Kong
and DKC2 bomb, and we don't have reason to believe any racing game not
named Mario Kart wouldn't do poorly here; even the F-Zero's and the
Gran Turismo's would likely fall short to lots of games. Also... http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=2647 ...though it's a port of DKR, another port is blowing it out to win the poll. In a poll with crap-competition, DKR performed like crap. That said, DKR will always have a place in my heart. Gotta love the missiles and hover-crafts! --- Prototype Shorthand, do you speak it?! |

Chrono Trigger might be stronger in Europe then Earthbound in that match >.< Yoshi's Island is going to win that poll in Europe, unless CTDS did more than I'm expecting. CT and EB share the emulation fanbase, and I don^t know how big that is to begin with.
