Metroid Prime is the difference maker between the Samus that was equal
to Sonic and the Samus we know today. Yeah, Super Metroid got her to
that initial level (with a HUGE assist from SSB), but Metroid Prime

SOTN isn't a noname. I agree on that idea but it's stretching to say
that Castlevania is an unknown title today. it did nearly upend KH and
beat Halo, after all. if Resident Evil is a bigger name today, it's not by much - and it's not because of RE1. After RE5, I'm sure that RE is a significantly bigger name - but more importantly, Castlevania the series is a sum of its parts. SotN is an individual game that a LOT of people haven't played or even heard of. The same can't be said of RE1 - even if you haven't played it, at the very least it has that "first in the series" prestige that has only seemed to help out entities like Sonic and DKC. --- turnturnturn your brain in turnturnturn your brain in |

Round 1 - Division 4: Match 2 Final Fantasy 7 This game are sick Mario Kart 64 Let's a go! Star Fox 64 Goddamn do I love this game Suikoden lol turbofodder Analysis The moment has arrived, here is your BGE2 champ, taking a leisurely stroll to beat the crap out of some lesser competition. We can now start the OoT/FF7 pissing contest. FF7 should be looking to clear 55% and potentially break 60% if it wants to impress here. MK64 and Star Fox should be hurting eachother, and Suikoden won't be worth a damn. But the interesting part of this match is the battle between N64 juggernauts for second place. Before the contest, I was really torn about this one. On the one hand, Mario Kart 64 is considered the best in the franchise, and has a huge playership. On the other hand, Star Fox 64 is definitely one of the endeering classics of the N64 and an all around awesome game. Then we saw the Super Metroid match and what Super Mario Kart managed to do. I have to give this to Mario Kart based solely on that impressive showing. Remember that match I posted for Cloud/Marcus/Kefka/Ocelot with Cloud
getting 56%? He had 48% at the freeze. So at this pace, it seems like
