#214 ff8 vs ff9

ready for some whining of epic porportions?

I can't wait to see what "logic" the Final Fantasy 9 Defense Force throws out to explain why their precious game is getting quadrupled by FF8.

FFVIII quadrupling FFIX ain't gonna happen, but I'd need it to happen for FFVIII to even stand a chance of getting past round 2.

BT, sometimes I think you need FFIX Therapy classes.

I mean there's hating a game and than there's this.

FFVIII will hurt FFIX a good bit, but quadrupling won't happen.

You can go ahead and just take out the FFIX part of that sentence , still accurate enough

FFVIII would do extremely well to double FFIX, let alone quadruple it. The best bet it has going for it is that Square fans realize that only one game can get through and vote FFVIII en mass, and considering how many anti-fans it has...

Don't think the 'anti-fans' are as numerous as people like to believe with FFVIII, although it's definitely got its share, though almost all 3D FFs have a vocal anti-fanbase.

FFVII...definitely Cait Sith's 'death'.

Cait Sith in general was 'what'

Seriously, what in the god damn hell were they thinking

They could've come up with a developed CHARACTER who was also partially a traitor. It would've been awesome.

Instead we get Cait Sith.

Cloud's original line there was "I bet there's definitely something in here I'll need to fool Corneo", Aeris's line was commenting on how he was just using that as an excuse to go into that seedy place. For some reason Aeris's line got copied into Cloud's for the translation script I guess so it got repeated twice

A little trivia >_>

Zen proposed an interesting idea to me: Take 3 strong, non-Nintendo/Square games. Fallout 3...uh...some other ones.

Put them up against The Legend of Zelda: Gaiden, with the pic only have a generic Link pose.

Does Zelda win?
