For the record, Super Metroid got 83.29% on PS4 I'm going to take this as solid proof that LA and MMX are both stronger than SM. hrm... either LA and MMX are both really strong or FF6 bites. I'll take the more obvious answer - FF6 is just not that strong. kinda feel better about World > FF4 by seeing this, though that's really stretching this result. if this is LA and MMX both being strong, then MMX is wayyyyy stronger than MM2/3 and LA's only a half step below Wind Waker. I don't believe that that's the case though, I'm not willing to go that high on MMX. --- yzzyx |

nah, we won't really know 'til LTTP/FF6, and since LA will likely crush
Sonic it'll be impeded there. that match could be SMK/LTTP/LA/FF6 and I
still wouldn't be willing to say FF6 is a lock, though. --- yzzyx |

The thing is... it hardly matters. FFVI's path is set in stone, and
even if it's weaker than it was in 2004, it would still take a DK-esque
choke job to drop the ball against LttP with such advantages in its

And while I probably wouldn't take Link's Awakening over Majora's Mask
or Wind Waker, I had no idea why people were so sure it couldn't be in
the same league. It's a hand held, yes, but it clearly shouldn't have
been compared to Minish Cap or the Oracle games just because of that.

Yeah, I wouldn't count on it either, but I still think it's a possibility. At least it's showing it has some pop, though. That leaves Majora's Mask as the biggest Zelda mystery. That one has a real question mark by its name. On the down side, it has pretty light sales (compared to the other big Zeldas) and was released while the N64 was old and dying. On the up side, it's got a lot of Ocarina ties. Wind Waker is not going to struggle with Mega Man X. Speak for yourself, there. I could see Wind Waker and Majora's Mask doing as bad or worse in this situation. --- So I lost a bet to creativename (yeah...hardly shocking). Like usual, I should've known better! FACT: Halo 3 was 1000% responsible for Master Chief's boost. |

I also don't think it's going to be fighting with Final Fantasy VI for
first, even accounting for the drop it's taken. Neither one sounds

*sigh* Another disappointing result from an SNES powerhouse (to me),
'cept this one's so obvious that everyone else is beating me to the
punch and then some. And sure, LttP may not have been able to SFF DKC
enough to let Doom through, but you'd expect something worth 47% on
what is still a relative juggernaut to do better than this on a

BOLD PREDICTION: Relatively, the ASV goes MMX > FF6 > LoZ.
I'll not claim this will win MMX the match, just that's this is how it

We'll have to see where MMX ends up (Link's Awakening will have more
breathing room in 20 hours), but after watching Sonic 3 fold like
origami against lesser Nintendo names, my money would be on Sonic 2 to
