Even if you look at the other MK-polls, MK:DD was against LoZ:WW and
MKW was pit against SSBB...both of which the MK-games were runner-ups
in the Gamecube/Wii-GotYs and their superior opponents were
GotY-winners. Also, MKDS is
the runner-up for GotY in 2005, only behind RE4 and ousting GoW. SMK
and MK64 are unknowns to us for the most part, but we expect them to be
the strongest MK-games and their sequels have done reasonably well. You
also can't question their sales, brand-name, or company affiliation,

Even if 2005 was a crap year for games, a handheld game being runner-up
GotY is very impressive considering how horrible handheld games do
here. The fact that it's a Mario Kart game that did it is pretty

In New Hampshire, we always had Winter Break the last week of February
and Spring Break the last week of April. I know Massachusetts was

| I'm pretty excited for tonight's match. If Link's
Awakening wins without trouble, I think we can reasonably conclude that
the top seven Zelda games would beat any Mega Man game (and probably

It'll be interesting to see who gets the ASV. For some reason I just
feel that DKC is gonna take that easily. At the very least, DKC should

| This match is starting to remind me of SM vs SMK. The trend of the last couple of hours is saying DKC over Doom, and they have went from a 280~ vote lead to 200. I guess it's those Americans starting to wake up. FPS is huge in Europe, so I expect Doom to score big here. |

I thought the feature would let you see exactly what every game got on
other games in the match, but it seems like it just randomly makes 2 or
3 games face eachother and you gotta guess by the number which ones it

It uses the first 2 entries. As far as I know, you can't get it to compare say, the 1st and 3rd or 3rd and 4th or whatever --- A refusal of praise is a desire to be praised twice. |
