Zero, who kicks ass in the ASV. If you are unpopular with the
Eurolosers, your morning vote will suck. DKC will decisively win the
ASV and make you look like a tool. BT, Crono has seared that pattern way too well into my mind. Far too many times. As for this match, the thing is that DK the character normally does very well with Europe and the morning and then fades through the second half of the match. DKC could still win the ASV, definitely, and I wouldn't be too surprised as we've never seen it in action before, after all. --- Link he come to town to win the Gamefaqs Contests. |

Nothing except unreliable, 5 year old stats points to Doom doing anything here. The 5-year old stats are what say Doom will lose the ASV because they say it has FFVI trends. --- Link he come to town to win the Gamefaqs Contests. |

That's very poor reasoning. DKC2 had much tougher competition in its
year space; same reason Suikoden got in and Suikoden II didn't when

I already said it wasn't a fair comparison. That's all we got though if
we're looking for DK against FPSs though (and you can already tell I'm

most FPS should have a good day vote because FPS are casual bait. But
Doom is a bit different. I'd expect more Duke Nukem kinda trends for

The Duke's more cult and a bit of a running gag compared to Doom, to be
fair. Doom's also kept relevant in recent years with Doom 3 and a movie
compared to a trailer for Duke Nukem Forever. I doubt their trends differ a lot, but Doom should still do better because of that. --- Prototype Shorthand, do you speak it?! |

DKC's more popular than EB, no doubt, but I wondered by how much before
today and still kinda wonder now...EB would be expected to get 15.62%
on Doom before considering LoZ:LttP if it was in DKC's place. DKC's got
17.82% right now, and tranny/Wylvane have brought up a decent point
that we've not seen a lot of SFF/LFF so far. If DKC is legitimately
resisting LFF/SFF today, then it's not far from EB. I'd have to believe DKC > Doom one-on-one, but Doom would probably keep close...and since EB got 42.94% on Doom, DKC and EB shouldn't be all that far apart. DKC versus SMW2:YI, who ya got? --- Prototype Shorthand, do you speak it?! |

I'm still getting caught up, but people need to stop saying people
don't care about Mario Kart! That's not true! Every game after the
first two has been nowhere near as popular, so don't bring up polls
about Double Dash, DS, or Wii! They're not relevant! I wouldn't be
surprised if Mario Kart held up to LttP better because people DO care
about Mario Kart. Seriously, Mario Kart doesn't get that close to Super Metroid on a fluke. Just stop saying "Who cares about Mario Kart?" because the answer is: A lot of people. Some have Spring Break. Though I'd imagine by now most Spring Breaks
have already ended. The ones in my area have anyway, and schools that

Also, I'm surprised DKC is doing so well, but why in the world hasn't anyone said anything about DKC's picture? That thing is awesome. Anyone who played and liked DKC would want to vote for it after seeing that! And LTTP is doing bad? This is about where I pegged it. But if it's doing badly, I don't care! What's the latest age groupings poll? Maybe less of the user base is
going to school now than in 2004 due to growing up in the past five
