I'm going to quote Ulti here. This quote comes from Ocelot>Nemesis 2005: "All we know for a fact is that Ocelot was clearly at a disadvantage going into the next round. He had to hope and pray that Wily was weak as hell, which is a bad thing to hope for when trying to win a tough match. Between the two Nintendo games, my money's on Metroid. It has a
hardcore fanbase, whereas SMK strikes me as the ultimate Nintendo
casual draw. Of course, didn't we say something about SMB killing SSB because we thought SSB was a casual draw and couldn't stand up to MARIO?! I wouldn't rule out Super Mario Kart that quickly. Seriously, people who love Mario Kart really love Mario Kart, self included. I don't think it's going to fold as easily as we think. | Yeah, put the ultimate case of SFF in (talking about Squall/Sora. That Sora turned out to be weaker than Squall says a ton about how much people like his KH incarnation) then add the second strongest character out there, who ALSO applies SFF, and even fodder is guaranteed a pass. The problem is that, in this case, there isn't an ultimate case of SFF, so Doom has to rely on LttP being able to SFF MK and SM much harder than Cloud could SFF Squall and Sora. |

How does this performance help MM? If anything, it shows that having a

What is it with Mario Kart and these huge spikes out of nowhere. It's
done that 3 times in the last 2 hours, and those spikes represent

| Not so much miraculous as much as being a tossup. I can see Doom scoring second place, sure. But people seem to think it's going to cruise to an easy victory with something like 5% more than MK and SM or something, while I think it's going to have to scratch and claw its way to second place. Do I think Doom can't win? No. Do I think it's going to have an easy win? Hell no. |

How easy Doom wins depends on Super Mario Kart. If it folds to aLttP as
badly as SM did in 2k4, Doom walks all over it. If it holds up better,
