Indirectly, the strengths probably aren't too wide We agree on this. And then FFVIII to be an even bigger distance from all three. Yeah FFVIII would easily be ahead of them. seeing as FF1 is worth 40% on SMW, FF9 doesn't have that much room to be a lot stronger before running into games I would definitely not take it over. I honestly don't see why anyone would worry about FF1 beating FF4 next
round. Only one of those games is fun after the first 5 minutes, and I

FFXII will do well enough solely because it's a Final Fantasy game.

And yeah, that's a dreadful poll performance from FFXII. Wind Waker did
tons better in a similar poll after its release, and it was still

Seriously though.... I can't think of any reason as to why PoP is

Uh, I just hope that anyone who thinks FFIX/HL/CC is a debatable match
took HL2>FFXII in a heartbeat. HL2 is going to be much stronger than

Well, I think the reason people think FFIX/HL is a debatable match is
more because of there being a Chrono Cross in the way, but yeah. I went
HL there (let's go FFVIII time for that miracle run), but FFXII in the

I thought the discussion was FF12's strength vs. other Final Fantasy's. I have no faith in it there. Against Half-Life 2, it has some shot, although it would definitely be an upset. Individual game respect/love/etc. matters more in these polls than franchise voting. Its kinda sad that Tecmo Super Bowls 1.24% update record might only last 1 day.. Yes. Yes it is. Seriously though.... I can't think of any reason as to why PoP is bombing this hard. Hmm... these 4chan guys are making this match a bit tougher to analyze. Anyway, while I'd still take FFXII over HL2 in a traditional match, I just couldn't do it here. There's another Square RPG in the poll, Half-Life 2 has the PC and Xbox vote all to itself, and Twilight Princess likely hurts FFXII more, as well.
