How in the world have we filled up a topic talking about this match? Yesterday's chart: Time | Castlevania | Civilization | Sonic 1 | SFII EBV | 10.36% | 8.70% | 43.74% | 37.20% PHV | 9.23% | 9.11% | 44.76% | 36.90% FNV | 9.85% | 10.40% | 42.40% | 37.35% BSV | 9.11% | 11.35% | 44.93% | 34.61% DSV | 9.57% | 10.36% | 46.11% | 33.96% ASV | 9.61% | 10.68% | 43.97% | 35.74% SNV | 9.54% | 10.59% | 43.59% | 36.28% Why in the world does Civilization have morning vote "power?" Castlevania was only able to stay above 10% during the board vote. Prety sad. Sonic's best time was late morning to early afternoon, and SFII's was, of course, the first night vote. Sonic really destroyed it in the DSV time period. Looking at the bracket, I can't help but wonder what impact either of
the 2D Metal Gear games could have had. If we stuck one of them in
tomorrow's match in place of BT or PoP, it could have at least made
things intriguing. Hell, maybe people could even exercise good taste

Well then....Monkey Island has been dropping with the day vote right on
schedule, but SimCity has been dropping more! It may come back some
with the second night vote, which actually has a decent length on

Because we have proof that 4chan once stuffed and rallied for Battletoads in a Gamefaqs poll. And did it for almost 24 hours straight. Against Final Fantasy. Which will most likely have a large enough lead here to not be relevant, but still. --- FastFalcon owned me in the Guru Contest! |

SMB3 currently has 93.24% on Tecmo Super Bowl. About 1% higher than what Super Mario Bros. got on Madden. Which will most likely have a large enough lead here to not be relevant, but still. Yep. If I remember correctly, 4chan stuffed until it had a big lead
(1,000-2,000, I forget), then FF came back...the 4chan stuffed it for

It'd be funny if 4chan rallied Battletoads over FF again, but there's
no way it'll pull it off. Two strong/one weak four-ways are the worst
matches possible for a decent joke character, plus there's a larger
voter base with fewer options to spread the vote out. And that's not
even considering that Battletoads would do pretty damn horrible
regardless, 4chan or no. The big joke characters are more rootable
because of their simplistic designs rather than recognizability, the

Yeah, it's hard to play by today's standards (and even back then), but
it was such a fun/cool concept in a time where a LOT of games were hard
and gaming was new again. I think Battletoads is generally forgivable

Battletoads is decent. Just frustrating sometimes, plus they didn't
make enough of the levels that were the most fun (the pure beat 'em up
stages). Battletoads in Battlemaniacs was even worse (2 Beat 'em up
stages then AUGH, at least when it came to co-op play). The Arcade game
and Battletoads-Double Dragon is where it's at! Hell, why isn't Battletoads-Double Dragon in this instead? Best of both worlds all in one poll option! --- Currently playing: GTAIV, SSBB, MP3, Apollo Justice, FFIVDS, Dracula X |
