This one's over. I can't think of a good SF-related day-vote or a bad
Sonic-related day-vote off-hand, and Sonic's taking charge of these
opening few minutes. Sonic 3 should advance twice now and compete with SM in R1, and Sonic 2's looking good to do the same with LoZ:LA. If only SA2:B and especially S&K were in the contest now...! --- Prototype Shorthand, do you speak it?! |

Sonic 3 should advance twice now and compete with SM in R1, and

especially S&K were in the contest now...! let's wait on this until we put Sonic with a franchise that matters. SF is just not that big. I don't trust Sonic to hold up when people can vote for Zelda instead. I'll let it prove me wrong there. --- yzzyx |

contest (which for some reason it doesn't seem to be), then I'm pretty
confident in that result. Nintendo Vs. Nintendo Vs. Sega/Nintendo

Civ bombing shows nothing. Civilization was one of the weakest series

mind. What makes you think that SFF isn't a factor? Yesterday where a mid-tier NES title was affected by the second strongest NES title? Back in the early 90's, you were either a Nintendo kid or a Genesis kid. Civ bombing like this makes it painfully obvious Monkey Island wins tomorrow Every game other SMB3 will bomb horribly tomorrow. I'm fairly confident that 2nd place is going to get single digits. It'll be inredicbly pathetic. (but that's what you get with a generational 4way...) I'm not so sure it makes Monkey Island 2nd obvious - Civ is probably stronger than SimCity, which means SimCity's percentage will probably be even lower than Civ's here. But just how well is Monkey Island going to do? It's up against SMB3, it's going to be tremendously low as well. Really, any of the three games could get 2nd. Ryu was leading in the night, europe vote is early morning, that's when Sonic started his comeback. Sonic exploded around 6 AM, when the Before School Vote starts. Europe is more influential before this than after, though still strong for a while after. SMRPG also started to flatten SF2 once morning came, and surely you'll not tell me that won the European vote. --- Link he come to town to win the Gamefaqs Contests. |

be even lower than Civ's here. But just how well is Monkey Island going
to do? It's up against SMB3, it's going to be tremendously low as well. Monkey island is by far the most hardcore of the 3 fanbases. They're not going to just abandon a game they constantly get guybrush in from, especially in its best chance ever to advance. I don't see any reason for SimCity to be as strong as Civ - like I
said, at least Civ is vaguely relevant today. Both will be utter chumps
though. Tomorrow's match is relevant only to see how laughable SMB3
