I never thought Metroid would be particularly strong or be able to
resist Zelda SFF but I had no faith in Contra being worth anything so I
took Metroid anyway. --- Demyx is better than Axel. |

I thought the Metroid SFF'd stuff was a bit overrated myself, so I
didn't think much about Contra beating it out due to that. I just
picked Metroid and moved on. Actually looking into it, SFF'd Metroid

I have Street Fighter 2 > Sonic 1, but I was back and forth for a
long time on that pick. And if this contest stays casual-heavy, Sonic

Street Fighter is also terrific at the Europe vote! As for casuals
dominating this contest, it's hard to say much about that when we've

I don't think SF2 will have that much of a problem with Sonic 1, yes,
it will be close. But it's not like SF2 is some nichy fighting game
that few play, SF4 and the HD Remix gave it a huge boost while Sonic 1

And yeah, this is just a one division thing. The further along we go,
the less how 'well known' you are starts to matter. Franchise votes
will still play a role, but we're not going to be dealing with super
fodder like we are with this division. Pac-Man ain't getting close to
