Contra got 61% on Phantasy Star and 30% on Final Fantasy. There's
room for Dragon Quest III in there with Zelda 1 eating up all the
apathy votes and killing Metroid! As a huge DW fan and a big proponent is dedicated fanbases mattering DWIII would do good to do better than Space Invaders --- FastFalcon believed in Snake. I didn't. |

yeah DW3 is single digit zone. Contra and Metroid should be the match there. I've got more and more respect for Metroid after watching Pac-Man do better on MM2. damned franchise votes. --- xyzzy |

Dragon Quest got 24% on Smash Bros., which compares favourably to Devil
May Cry in the same fourpack. Contra doesn't have a dedicated fanbase
and Metroid's is going to abandon it because Zelda 1 is shinier

Man, I just realized that Oregon Trail, despite being eternities worse in Europe than Mega Man, did way better on it than Pac-Man did on Metroid. ...Metroid's so screwed this year. yeah DW3 is single digit zone. Contra and Metroid should be the match there. I would think so. Even with DW3 most likely being a bit stronger than Galaga, Zelda's fourpack is stronger than SMB's fourpack. I'd say DW3 would probably be falling around 8-10%. With this kind of beast performance from SMB, the closer SMB's final percentage is to SMB3's percentage, the better I like the chances of SMB > Zelda 1 in round 2 and round 3. I hope to god this is one of those matches that both of them stay next to eachother like this all day Supposedly, the record for the closest match in a 4-way was Weighted Companion Cube > Mega Man, where the lead maxed out at 500. This match could possibly break this record if it says close all day.
