SMB3 is gonna wreck its group -- that's probably the biggest blowout of the contest. FFVII will rip its four pack apart, too. We're gonna be in for some killer blowouts this contest.

DK could find a way to lose the day vote to anyone short of a Chrono Trigger or FFVI character. He will end lower than here, the question is whether Punch-Out can take advantage. Tetris isn't guaranteed to win the day vote either- it did poorly with the day in 2004 and of course L-Block has always been much better at night, not that that's relevant. SMB3 also had a bad day vote in 2004, so being mainstream does not equal a strong day vote.

DK's a choke artist but he never really displayed a notably bad day vote.

His worst choke had logic behind it anyway. Losing to Duck Hunt for almost the entirety of the second half of the match. Since Duck Hunt was only released with Super Mario in America, in stands to reason that Duck Hunt won't get going until most of the Americans get their votes in so, that's a forgivable performance. The other chokes are pretty bad but it's not like they happened against bad day vote characters
