Doubt Punch-Out is going to do any better once we get away from the
board vote. It seems like the kinda game that would do great early (not
just board vote, but early and through some of the night) than DK. Got
no faith in Punch-Out doing anything during the day. DK's probably got

Guru and BOP went pretty strong for Punch-Out!!, though, so I'd wager
it's got BRACKETS behind it. And Punch-Out!! does not strike me as a

I'd wait one or two more updates before ringing the bell on this one.
As I said: Board vote goes to Tyson, but bracket vote goes to DK. And

Tetris doing this well isn't too surprising to me... I mean, with
Punch-Out bombing like it is, there's nothing even close to it. this is

Is Mario 3 breaking 80% reasonable at this point? I don't know. DK and Punch-Out!! are probably LFFing each other partly. SMB1 breaking 70% is starting to look a lot better though. --- FastFalcon owned me in the Guru Contest! |

Tetris being this high isn't all that surprising. I originally had it
at 50% here, even if it'll end up being a fair bit above that. It's not
like this is even noteworthy competition, although DK managing to get

Man, I don't have a read on the board's pulse for this contest at ALL,
it seems. I assumed DK was the favorite and that Tetris was heading for
one of the bigger slaughters of the first round (and this is with

1) Damn, Tetris. I though 45% would have been good for it. 2) Damn, Space Invaders! 3) The board really wants PO to win, methinks, and that's aside from brackets. I'd be surprised if DK got the board-vote over it, so PO's in a tough position if it can't improve through-out the night and hold its own during the day. Then again though, the day won't be kind to DK either, so...we'll see. We should wait awhile before calling this. --- Prototype Shorthand, do you speak it?! |
