LoZ/SMB is the only thing probably in the top half that's bothered me
more than normal besides RE/Castlevania (which I still think will be

For the record, using Ramza as a base of comparison for FFT is a bad
idea. Until Ramza's name contains the words "Final Fantasy" in it
anyway. Final Fantasy Tactics only came as close as it did because of
the brand name. Ramza's not a popular character and never was. I'm
saying this as a guy who loves Ramza to death, for the record. The game
will always be more popular than Ramza. P.S. Majora's Mask/FFT will be closer than MGS/FFT, for the record. And that's not a knock on FFT. That's just how far along MGS has come. --- http://www.court-records.net/animation/phoenix-superobjection.gif |

Of my "upsets", FFT > MGS is the one I'm least comfortable about.
Too many games in that match with too wide a range. I still feel
comfortable that Tactics beats MGS, even though the logic I'm using for
that match is the opposite as the Brawl > Galaxy logic (which is
hilarious given you guys who are the other way around and just as

You can't have MM3 in the quarters and not MM2 since they both rely on the exact same logic to happen. Sure, the logic is the similar but: • I think the gap between the MM2 and LoZ is larger then the gap between MM3 and SMW • SMB3 will hurt SMW more then SMB will hurt LoZ I made that decision because I think LoZ > SMW is the reason there Turtle. --- Problems? |

Majora's Mask should do all right. I think I have it over FFT for now
because I think FFT's fallen (I also think MM would have beaten it in

Maybe I'm overestimating it but didn't it get tons of noms in 2004 but
was knocked out cuz of OoT? And Majoras Mask I generally see people
considering one of the top Zeldas, and I see more praise for it then

Also in the top 100 list, its 5th, but one spot behind Wind Waker
(which is probably not as popular now since it was the most recent
Zelda, and Legend of Zelda for NES (which is only really popular cuz of
it being the first in the franchise... it, like original Super Mario
Bros, doesnt hold a candle if up against the better games in the
series). And Twilight Princess to me, hasn't seemed to gotten the
praise and fans that Wind Waker did at the time, so right now, I

Either way, there's been almost nothing kind to Majora's Mask in the
polls. Also, I thought too many people were disappointed by Majora's

Sorry, I'm seeing more and more arguments about MM after I make my post. FF8 got a lot more criticism than MM did, at least that's what I observed. And right on cue, the DSi commercial comes on. Holy **** does Nintendo
make me puke sometimes. "She kicks high" for DoA is the only gamer

Majora's mask getting that close to Goldeneye... yeah, can't see Pokemon doing that.
