Filling out my bracket FF12 HL2 Phoenix Wright Zelda: TP This one is killing me. FF12 and TP are kinda "meh" in their respective series (again, ignore scores and bring it up in their respective fanbases and see what the reaction is). | Honestly SonicRaptor, I'm feeling a Half-Life 2 upset over Final Fantasy XII. With the Orange Box Gordon Freeman did much better for himself in these contests, so it's obviously the number of people who have been exposed to HL2 has increased. Granted this doesn't always transfer over to popularity, but given how FF12 characters have done in these things, I don't think every FF fan will immediately jump to XII. |

| Yeah, the more I think about it the more I believe
that FF12 is the weak one because it really has nothing going for it in
it's fanbase. The fact nobody talks about the characters I think speaks

Judging FFXII by its characters is a bad move, I think. FFIV, FFVI,
FFIX all have characters in this that have been really weak, and we
haven't even gotten to see anything from FFVIII despite repeated
rallies for its characters. I don't know that you can look at
characters and try to gauge any FF, it's just not an indicator of how

you know, that match reminds of that Crono/Vincent/Zero match. MM3 is the Zero of the bunch. The only difference is that we knew that Zero was well enough below Crono/Vincent that he needed a good split to even make a match out of it (and not have Link there), but this seems different to me. There are enough people that list Mega Man 2 as the best NES game that I feel confident that it can beat an outdated Zelda and Mario 1 when they're splitting eachother. It's an upset pick, but a very sexy one, and it's a shame that MM3 will likely be in the round after that and ruin any more chances for MM2. --- Like Darth Maul, the bastard child of Michael Flatley and Hellboy. -trancer1 |

I don't know, something about this situation makes it seem like the
Mega Man games will act differently than the characters. We'll know
more once the contest starts, but it's certainly within the realm of

1 on 1, I wouldn't take it. In that situation, I think MM2 has the
strength to take advantage of the split, especially against what are

I don't think it's out of the question. We've only seen the Mario
