SFII can go damn far if it makes it past the Mario 3/Mario World
hurdle. I'd give it more of a chance than FFIV in that match, at least.

I had Mega Man 3 escaping behind Mario World at first, but now I feel
foolish for having even considered it. If Mario World can crush Sonic 2
as badly as it did, there's no reason to believe Mega Man 3, an actual
Nintendo game, will fare any better. The Final Fantasy split should

Call me crazy, but I'm starting to consider Galaga over Ninja Gaiden. Wasn't that another huge title? Was it as big as.. Space Invaders? Galaga may not be worth much.. but it at least made it into the 2004
bracket. It must have *some* fans around here considering it had to

The worst part is, that final spot could actually end up taking second
place, as you have OoT and either LttP or SMB3 splitting the Nintendo

Assuming LttP/Super Metroid/SMK/DKC happens (I have little faith in

Halo 3 is the one to look for, Master Chief has been getting bigger and bigger with every contest it seems and Fallout 3 shouldn't give it that hard of a time. MGS4 though is a safe pick because I'm not convinced MC can stand up to that kind of a challenge.
