I'm disappointed that we didn't get best new challenger poll :( I was expecting that poll for today. Personally, I think they go Cammy >>>>>>>> Fei Long > Dee Jay >>>>>>>>T Hawk I m not sure about Fei Long / Dee Jay, but considering Fei got into SFIV and Dee Jay didn't, that seems pretty accurate. By the way, yesterday's poll says Vega would beat M. Bison with 53.93%.
Diablo beat M. Bison with 52.88% in 2k5, rallying included. Vega's no killer new prospect, if Vega can outdo Diablo right before SF4 starts landing everywhere and the SF-movie comes out, then SF-characters in general should be feeling pretty good right now. So how big a boost do you think the SF characters will see? Because
looking at this poll (of course missing a key option which may cause
non-voter bias or whatever) it doesn't look like it'd be a huge boost.
I still think it'd be notable though since it'll bring the SF series to
the forefront of people's minds. I'm also interested to see how SF4 will benefit SF2 during the 2011 Games Contest. I imagine SF2 will do well as is in a four-way contest, which I'm 75% sure we'll end up getting anyway. Making it relevant would really help its chances, you know, if the Games Contest were going to happen soon and not a length of time later that would pretty much kill off the SF4 hype. looking at this poll (of course missing a key option which may cause

Besides, like HM said, I think SF4 will pick up a bit more with word of mouth than your average game. Well, today's poll is reminding us of what we already knew: the Street
Fighter 2 games have been above and beyond anything else from the
SF-series for a long time. I wonder how some SF-crossover games like

for RE5's release, though I don't know if we'd really learn anything

I'd count on Chun-Li > Raiden there. Raiden wasn't so hot last year

I'm still wondering if Vega > Bison meant anything in terms of
one-on-one matches. Yoshi will easily win a favorite Mario poll too but
eh.. maybe that's just a silly comparison? I guess I'll take Vega since
Bison at least went toe-to-toe with Diablo, and Arthas probably still
isn't stronger than him. after seeing Diddy, I'm not sure if Brawl does much for people these days than we think. FE can't be as big as the games Diddy's in can it? Or at least significantly bigger.
