Indeed, but I think RBY has a ton of legit strength.....and isn't going
to get anti-voted nearly as much as the series or the characters. Just
a feeling, possibly fueled by surprise at Pikachu doing so well the
past 2 contests. And I don't feel the SMB name helps Mario games nearly
as much as the Zelda name helps Zelda games because: 1. The Mario Series is not close to the Zelda Series in strength. 2. I know it got SFFed by ALttP, but as bad as one Square game sffing
another Square game on the same console? We have seen this before with
FF, it is not a pretty sight. SMRPG was getting buried by SFF. A Squaresoft game that many see as a Mario game may or may not have been buried by SFF from Chrono Trigger. In any case comparing things through SFF matches is completely unreliable. --- Not even a spread of 105 points would allowed me to defeat FastFalcon05! If Super Metroid is given a non-Nintendo opponent, I fully expect it to
look quite good. But putting it up against Mario essentially wastes it

Besides, most people agree that the SFF chain goes Zelda > Mario > Metroid, so that's got something to do with it. I'm talking about general strength, not the ability to get SFFed. ...actually, let's try this again. I have a hard time seeing the black sheep of MGS taking out the top tier Metroid game. FF VIII (big gap) Super Metroid Kingdom Hearts MGS 3 (huge gap) GTA SA --- Gunner is, what is the word... passionate. but i think that MichaelWClark dude is far crazier than anything Gunner has posted. | Granted, Super Metroid got screwed running into
Link to the Past in round 2, the same could be said for Samus's other
titles in that contest (Metroid running into SMB3, Metroid Prime having

Yeah, this is about the funniest poll ever in terms of vote swings. The results 45 minutes in were When do you usually answer the Poll of the Day? Anyone think "Just before I go to bed" will make a comeback against "As soon as it is updated" It's behind 2760 though it is stalling now and it will only get stronger until the end of the poll. 2760 is a huge lead and "As soon as it is updated" has been steadly
increasing it all day long. Also the second night vote isn't that long
and not as many votes come in. But if anyone can blow a lead of this

That's still Cloud in Cloud/CATS 2k3. I've always thought that TRE was some sort of incredibly advanced bot
