However, it's possible that the "Never played" option could drop below 65.98% before the end of this poll. WoW against non Squintendo > Starcraft > D2 > WoW against Squintendo WoW's power comes from its rallying ability. Feed it something that isn't universally loved and it will do great. Feed it to Mario 3 and it will get anihilated. Though it will probably end up as a high seed, so it can get a couple of rounds of ass kicking in before it gets creamed. Such impudence from one who thought it could beat Twilight Princess! 65% of the site won't be voting WoW. No matter what. And nobody gives a damn about how much rallying power you have if you can't even get close enough to the point where it makes a difference. Look at Pika/Alucard/Arthas/Falcon, or better yet, Samus/Ganon/Frog/Nightmare. Supposing that we get 150000 votes, 65-35 is 45000 votes. WoW would need to draw a game that people are apathetic about or dislike if it wants to do much of anything. BT talks about it WoW being at its weakest against universally loved
games, but TP is universally at least liked more than WoW; and it's a

Not saying WoW is a lock there, but if any of the Zelda games is

If you're going to judge a game's strength based on how much "talk" it gets on Internet forums, The World Ends With You starts looking like a mighty fine upset against TP. Twilight Princess is one of the three best selling Zelda games ever, and it's the only one to launch with a system. Well, I wouldn't make such statements with absolute certainty - there's
always a chance we're wrong, especially when the games are new to the
contest setting (and the fact that it's been five years since the last
contest, anyway). However, I wouldn't hesitate to betting a lot on TP
being the third strongest Zelda, and I'd bet the house on it being

I don't know why people are so hesitant to give TP some credit. It's going to be very strong. Agreed. I've already decided that I'd take it against Brawl and FFVI,
and I may take it over Melee and FFX (coin flips). Like you said, the
main reason people are hesitant is because of the "disappointment
factor," but that pales in comparison to the fact that so many GameFAQs
voters seem to simply dislike WoW. That match is a joke waiting to

I am actually more interested in looking forward to some game series related polls (best Zelda game, etc) being run before the next contest, so we get an idea of how they might perform in a contest format. Seriously, Twilight Princess isn't going to be weaker than Wind Waker or Majora's Mask. Period. No discussion necessary. Agreed. The tiers blend a bit more than that of course. I think Galaxy or RE4
or even FF8 could beat some of the games in your third tier. And an
