Starcraft/Kerrigan is not a good comparison here because again, Gamefaqs actually likes Starcraft. Where did you get the idea that GameFAQs hates WoW? There's less people
hating WoW than hated Halo in 2004, and Starcraft beat Halo... --- Like Darth Maul, the bastard child of Michael Flatley and Hellboy. -trancer1 FastFalcon is apparantly better at contesty stuff than me. |

The poll where 52% of the site said they did not want to play WoW and
only 15% were currently playing is pretty clear I think. I mean we have

The fact that some 68% of this site hasn't and doesn't play the game is
all you need to know about WoW. You can argue the whole rallying thing,

Also just check top games. WoW is 6th. Thats really hating it. Wasn't San Andreas #1 when Ness beat CJ? Wasn't Pokemon #1 when it lost to Xenogears? Also don't forget WoW would likely be a huge bracket pick. Like you all
thought Lucario would easily win round 1 this year, but Altair was the

I said I'd take Starcraft if the final were FFVII/OOT/CT/SC, and I
stand by that. If WoW is in SC's place I'd take it to win also. If both
SC and WoW are in the final, I'll take FFVII to win. Yeah, that would kill whatever credibility these contests have left after 2 years of 4-ways. To get a number 1 seed, it would have to get twice the nominations of

On a side note, CTDS sold 107,000 copies in its first week, according
to (lol) VGChartz. This compares favorably to the 47,621 figure for
FFIV DS's first week, but CTDS did have the advantage of Black Friday.
Still, the CT crew can probably expect a pretty good boost from it, if

Kingdom Hearts was probably the biggest bomb of the Games contest in
2004. Starcraft's easy win over Kingdom Hearts probably was foretold by
the fact that KH up and bombed against Soul Calibur. Although it was

I don't think I have ever seen One Less Bracket earlier, but the last two pages have been full of it. Star Craft, though an illegitimate run, is a legitimate threat. (though putting it above CT and ALttP is stupidity) So score one for Blizzard in that regard. WoW is nothing, I don't care if it has 11,000,000 players, it's not coming close to the big games and would get routed by Starcraft on a site where so many people hate it. To put it in perspective, SC which is loved here, needed vote stuffing, and to be up against the game on this site people hate the most (excpet, possibly WoW, and GTA) to pull a win, and then it used momentum and more vote stuffing to beat WindWaker. You all are scared of rallying way too much. Hogger beat Ramza because they were both close in strength all ready, so a little rallying was huge. WoW vs ALttP would be nothing like that, because ALttP is so much stronger than it from the beginning.
