Iuno, maybe thats what the stats say. It just find it weird, SFF or

Believe it, you all should have rallied around Cloud yesterday and
we would be seeing Zack beat down 3 forms of Cloud LFFing each other

Thanks for the numbers Xuxon :) charmander They are by no means final. It's a small start. I didn't mean that your particular stats are bad or anything :) I just mean that the entire concept of multi-pack, multi-advancement stats isn't even a viable as an intellectual exercise. I just think it's bunk. Gaddswell Looking at the last hours of the final, that was some final rush Cloud made there! I find it hillarious that with hogger advancing to round 2 he's nearly

Well, talking about stats and this format...Ngamer, may I suggest a new
version of your x-stats calculator that can roughly put characters into
four-way matches? It's becoming more relevant and it will allow for a
lot of new fun for playing with stats. Mere suggestion, albeit one I think is good! --- NRT winners: Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow, Star Fox 64, Donkey Kong Country 2 Remember these games! |

Harrich, I have something akin to a naive, linear multi-way calculator
coming - both stats from matches, and predictions based on strength
values. Will get to finishing them and putting them up on the site one

Ngamer, may I suggest a new version of your x-stats calculator that can roughly put characters into four-way matches? Good idea. Hmm. Did Brawl help Isaac in any way...? Granted, Lucario sucked ass,
dropping a huge atomic bomb, but why did he struggle to break away from
ISAAC, let alone lose the lead to him for a while in the night? Brawl
was Isaac's first appearance since GS:TLA...And I think Isaac wouldn't
get nearly as close to Lucario as he did were it not for Brawl, eeven

red sox 777 (#417) Great post. His strength is absurd. I don't care what anyone says. 2008 Link would beat 06 Link. Short of Snake rallying at the start (proof of this is that Cloud beat Snake the entire rest of the match) Link never had a challenge this contest, and watching fanboys think Snake was going to win was a site to behold. With what OoT Adult Link is doing TO HIMSELF right now, I have no doubts whatsoever Cloud absolutely would have lost to Link this year if Mario and Samus were in the poll. Heck, honestly, I would not be shocked if Link beat Cloud if Cloud was in this poll right now. Obviously he would have to be the huge favorite, but it would not shock me in the least. --- Gunner is, what is the word... passionate. but i think that MichaelWClark dude is far crazier than anything Gunner has posted. | And looking at the stats, Altair,despite making it
to round 3, is just barely in the upper half of the X-Stats with a
value of 18.82 shows how weak his fourpack was (and that Altair himself
is nothing special; he benefited from having one of the weakest

...Altair may not be anything special, but please don't try to use these "stats" to say that. Besides, he's the Middle Eastern equivalent of Ryu Hayabusa. | I love how Fox is terrible low despite surviving Yoshi SFF and not looking like a failure in round 2 as he was expected to. And in the end he's still incredibly low anyway. :/ |

14.84% update while CD-I Link gets an 11.87% update (his worst so far).

Okay, Young Link officially sucks now since he pulled in an epic 2.44%
update. Before that, he was pulling in 5-7% updates. Toon Link manages

About Toon Link in 2k3...I'm starting to think he didn't get hurt
much/any by Cloud, but it really hindered his ability to SFF against
Fox and Samus. Afterall, Fox held up a lot like Yoshi and Samus did
better than Mario. If that was the case, then a lot more of us would

WW Link's performance really doesn't make a lot of sense to me when you
look at 2k4, though. That would mean that TP hype, Zelda compilation,
and the other myriad of reasons did pretty much nothing for Link, and it all hinged upon that one picture. I think the reality probably falls a little in the middle - Link obviously had virtually every bracket in the contest on his side in 2k3, and looking at the difference between the votals in Cloud/Link I as opposed to every other match in that contest it's not out there to say that Link overperformed what he "should" have gotten in that match. Of course, that would be counterbalanced by the WW picture and anti-champion votes (still a part of his intrinsic strength as yesterday proved, but this was before it was a part of Cloud's as well). Then 2k4 rolls around, and Link gets his more favorable picture while Cloud gets a good number of brackets on his side.
