Cloud has a BEAST of a day vote, you know. Cloud is only good in the day vote in the sense that he starts so low he rises the entire day. It's hardly that impressive if you exclude the first hour. Link/Cloud and Link/Sephiroth were some of the biggest vote shifts in 2005. Even bigger than Mario/Sephiroth. --- "All you base are belong to us."--CATS |

eh, out of all the Noble Nines, Snake appears to be the least hated and
has very little internet anti-fanboys/fangirls or whatever you want to
call them. If this is another NN, I'd expect the Internet to not care
that much and Link will win as usual, but this is Snake we are talking
about. He is a different story. People loves him. The internet loves

No, Link definitely has this. Snake was up over 600 on Cloud at this
point yesterday, and I'd be shocked if he didn't fall off much much

cry moar I'm actually playing devil's advocate there, KH. MGS4 was awesome, and Snake winning this would also be awesome. ...but he won't. Still might not beat Cloud, even. |

| At the one hour mark, the Square duo was only off 3% from Cloud/Sephy's performance in the '06 Battle Royal fourway, while Link was down nearly 11%. Could it be that Link's actually getting SFF'd here? |

Then games have a long way to go in term of evoking emotions. The hyperbole is so thick its killing any happiness I would glad out of Link losing --- Our shields cannot withstand wavedashing of this magnitude! Annoying posters! I am the great wavedash! |

If that's what it takes to make the most emotionally intense videogame I've ever played then all I can say is Bravo. Ehh...I could argue about the role of cinema in games here, but I won't. A) Like I said a couple posts ago, MGS4 was awesome anyway, and B) this is Contest Stats and Discussion. So. |

worse. Only thing is, Cloud has one of the worst early votes in the contest and Link has one of the best. A small lead on Link and a 600 lead on Cloud at this point isn't really that different. |
