Not too bad a bracket at a glance. Like the TP/FFX/SMB3, MGS1/RE4,
Pokemon/StarCraft setups. Need a better spot for Galaxy, though - whole

1 thing that bugs me is why Halo 1 is higher seeded than Halo 2. dont get me wrong, Halo 1 was acctually good and 2 was trash, but I thought 2 was far more popular since it had Live(least from the get go)? --- Warning, there is a bear right behind you. Ride Him. |

I do pretty poorly all contest (between 120 and 150 on the gurus, out
of about 200), then predict Crono's path correctly and I've got a shot
at the leaderboard tomorrow, and if I've calculated right, I'll be

There is no way Halo is a 2 seed and RE 4 and ALttP are 3's. Both of those should be 2's before Halo touches one. Also, how is Metroid Prime a 4 seed, but Super Metroid is a 12? --- Gunner is, what is the word... passionate. but i think that MichaelWClark dude is far crazier than anything Gunner has posted. | Super Metroid is probably the biggest seeding
slip-up, but I was wrapping things up and didn't really have another
place for it. How are the actual matches? I tried to make as many coin
flips and upset specials as possible despite retaining the

So, looking at that bracket, OoT-FF VII is a lock for the Final, right?
I mean, OoT will annihilate Metal Gear Solid to meet the Chrono Trigger

| It'd probably be around there, yes. X-stats are
notoriously inaccurate in 4-ways though, and they can't exactly be
relied upon exclusively in 1v1s either (lol Magus > Sonic). I think
Morgoth came up with a somewhat better and harder to calculate stats
method for 4-ways than the one we usually use, which pretends 2 of the
characters in the poll don't exist and using the 1v1 method on the
remaining votes. This is probably almost as accurate though, and much

Big Boss – 30.95% Raiden – 29.10% After doubling Raiden and man-handling Kirby I think that's an odd result for Big Boss. Sure, there was some Nintendo SFF in the first round, but nothing as severe as Big Boss had to go through in the second round. BB == Kirby. |

differently from what he got on Link last round. He's within half a

Link is going to dominate the ASV, but Crono just might hold his 26%
here....25.5% looks safe at least. He looks back on 2005 form with his
day vote, which is hopefully a sign of a boost in strength as well.
This is still speculative, but we're getting more support for the
theory that the Deboost is basically the reversal of the Boost in 2005.
And I attribute CT's drop more to 2005 than any other year, actually.
Frog and Magus looked horrible that year, and Crono looked very
lackluster....57% on Bowser in 2006 was more impressive than anything
he did in 2005. 2007 was probably the weakest Crono we've ever seen,
