We're about 100 votes ahead of yesterday's poll. Cloud should rise a
lot, although it'll be interesting to see if the exciting end to the
last match helped his early vote or not. I'm guessing not much because
Crono probably overlaps with Snake almost as much, and Vincent fans

On the plus side (for me) Crono is more likely than Vincent to not come
in second against Link/Mario/Samus, so my Cloud>Link final at least

If Snake stays this close to Cloud percentage-wise all day, I wouldn't

With WCC out of the picture, looks like the only exciting thing left
(that we can realistically foresee) is Snake's performance against

Oh the pain. I didn't just fall off the list, I tumbled to my death off the Leaderboard, never to return. L-Block hit me with a double-whammy, and no L, means no return to the top 50. Alright, argument for there not being evidence of stuffing: Crono got 1191 votes in the last hour and 1017 votes the second to last hour. Vincent got 929 votes the last hour and 999 votes the second to last hour. Samus got 1058 votes in the last hour and 1179 votes in the second to last hour. Crono has a much better second night vote than Samus, so it makes sense that he would drop off far less than she would- indeed Magus gained 100 votes in the last hour against Sandbag. Suppose Crono would normally drop off, say, 50 votes compared to 120 for Samus, and Crono only needed to rally 220 votes. That's definitely not such a high number that stuffing needs to be involved. The 62 vote update doesn't show anything either- we've seen multiple shifts from update to update just in yesterday's match that are greater than the shift to and from that update. Cloud/Snake next round looks like a tossup to me. might even give the edge to Snake. wonder if Crono hurts Cloud to any significant degree. he probably hurts him more than Vincent since Vincent would just get crushed by Cloud - Crono can steal some votes away from him. if this is true, we could see Link > Snake. --- xyzzy http://img.imgcake.com/samusvsganondorfvsvincentvsgordon.jpg |

Pika's performance means that had Ryu beaten out Block, he probably
would have advanced as far as I had him going. Darn you Pikachu!
