So did Snake/Chief/Dante/L-Block. I think you're forgetting just how 'roided up MC was last year. Samus wasn't exactly weak either. I think Samus would have probably beaten MC a little worse than Snake
there. She probably doesn't overlap as much with Dante, and was also
probably intrinsically stronger still last year. This year that may be
different thanks to MGS4, but yeah we've had the Mario/Samus debate

Samus wasn't exactly weak either. She beat Sephiroth much worse than Snake did the year before on the same fourpack. Because of Cloud. If Sephiroth had simply held up as well as he did to Cloud the last go-around, she wouldn't have won. I was astonished how well Samus held up to Link SFF last year. I would
never have dreamed that Cloud would SFF Sephiroth worse....and unless
you believe Samus is close to Seph, Cloud did a LOT more damage to
Sephiroth than Link did to Samus. For that matter, being in a poll with Link and Cloud ought to present some possible prolems SFF-wise for Snake....suggesting that Snake underperformed in his match against Clinkeroth relative to his upcoming match against Cloud and Sephiroth due to Link taking his Brawl support away. Is there any chance this match has a legit conclusion? I mean even if
it is legit it sure doesn't look like it. Just seesawing back and
forth, I mean if it happened once or even twice it would be one thing
but this has gotta be at least the 4th time they've just traded
successive cuts/gains. --- Should I start running now? |

It actually looks very legit. When 2
characters are pulling in close to 50% of the vote, they will alternate
winning updates a lot. We've been overreacting all day to single
updates: when you look at the hourly chart this match is following

And yeah, it's obvious there is a lot of rallying going on (hopefully
no stuffing), but there's no evidence for it in the updates, meaning
it's having all that big an effect on things, when you consider both

As a huge Crono fan, I've gotta say I'm feel VERY good about this match
right now. Crono is stalling (and like Noob just said, technically WON)
the last hour, and that was the last hour Vincent really dominated in
the last match. He started to really slow down 8 PM on and even gave up
quite a few Crono cuts, so Cronos best time is over and Crono is within
