Man, how can you not making a Kirby biased pick with that 4-pack. The first pic wasn't too bad about it. And at least in the second one, Dante stood out as much as Kirby. |

Ha, I don't want Samus, Vincent, etc. to actually get horrible pics
when facing Crono- that would be a hollow victory. The only time I
would ever want to see ZSS again in a contest poll is if she happens to

Nah, Crono's got past his day vote choking. He started at 4 AM last
year, well before sunrise. Don't put it past him to start losing ground
even earlier this year! In a couple more years he will just start
choking at the beginning of the match, which is to say, he will have

Match LVII: Link vs. Zack Fair vs. Mario vs. Mega Man X Last Round: Link – 51.52% Zack Fair – 22.09% Duke Nukem – 14.45% Altair – 11.94% Zack continues to walk through this weak division while Duke decides to have no problems defeating Altair unlike what he did in round 2. Despite Link destroying everything left and right I am almost sure that he isn’t as strong as his x-stat value gave him, that doesn’t mean he is in danger of losing just that Link is closer to 56% BL rather than 59%. Mario – 32.73% Mega Man X – 29.44% Liquid Snake – 21.92% Luigi – 15.91% I guess Zelda and Mudkip have more of an overlap with Mario than Luigi based on Mario’s performance against X this round. Still Luigi almost broke 16% and Mario had no problems beating X, I guess they aren’t tied to the hip. X has lost to Mario twice already, but you know what they say, third time’s a charm. Analysis: Welcome to round 4 where 7 out of the 8 characters in the top half are either Nintendo or Square. Talk about massive fanbase overlap in the final rounds. At least it isn’t that bad in the second half of the bracket. This will be the first true test for Zack and this will be the last shot X has against Mario since one of them won’t be leaving this match alive. Like the future champ should Link will continue to stroll through the bracket into the finals. To get to the finals Link is going to have to float through a sea of Nintendo. In this match he has Mr. Nintendo and Nintendo light. While he’ll be held down because of fanbase overlap he should have no problems winning and being the dominant force that he is he could be pushing for 40% in this match. As much as the board loves Zack he won’t be doing much in this match. I guess being in such an easy division things like this happen. Zack could end up looking good because he is the odd one, but he won’t threaten Mario or X. If Link decides that he wants to destroy Mario like he did in 2006 Battle Royal then Zack could avoid third, but other than that he should be coming in last. The real match begins with Mario and X, for the third and final time. Despite being in SFF matches Mario was able to defeat X in both matches, but this time Mario will be the weaker character in the SFF match. I think this match will ultimately be decided by which Mario decides to show up, if it’s last year’s Mario I’ll give him the win, but if it’s 2006 Mario X should take the final rematch without any problems. If there’s one thing I can say with some confidence is that Mega Man X is indeed weaker than the original Mega Man. X was unable to defeat Mario with Luigi taking almost 16% of the poll. X may have a Nintendo fanbase, but he has a lot less overlap with Mario than Luigi and if the overlap is significant he’ll probably be just as affected as Link. Even in his first round match X performance was just out of reach from what Mega Man was expected to get. Indirectly I could see Mega Man defeating X in a 55/45 match. Link continues his domination, Mario and X have a battle for the ages again and Zack fans get a treat where he’ll look sort of good against some big name characters. This should be X’s match for the taking, but failing to defeat Mario twice in SFF gives me doubt.
