It's kinda of depressing that Mega Man is basically in Crono's 07
position now. It's also kind of depressing that this contest has
literally evolved into an affair of who can Albion rally for.

I can probably get MM a few dozen votes the old fashioned way.
Problem is... I'm the only Guru with Snake > WCC here, and I'm not
sure if a match has ever been correctly predicted by only one Guru

Match LIV: Squall Leonhart vs. Sora vs. Cloud Strife vs. Mewtwo Last Round: Squall Leonhart – 30.47% Sora – 28.31% Yoshi – 22.44% Fox McCloud – 18.77% Looks like Fox and Sora didn’t fold by as much as what some people thought causing Yoshi to lose by a fair amount. Also Sora decided to perform much better against Squall than he did last year and adding Cloud to the mix could give us strange results. Cloud Strife – 53.49% Mewtwo – 16.91% Midna – 16.16% Pac-Man – 13.44% Cloud had no problems destroying this four-pack getting the highest percent of the round. Mewtwo on the other hand performed below expectations, especially when you compare him to Mewtwo. So was this Nintendo overlap or RPG overlap I guess we’ll find out in this match. Analysis: I was expecting Yoshi to be here and benefit from the SFF Squall is going to receive and steal second. However we now have a second Square character and a Mewtwo who didn’t look so hot last round. How will the overlap work? Who will benefit? Can Mewtwo pull the upset of the lifetime? Even with all of this overlap Cloud will have no problems getting first. Cloud has shown that he can dish out SFF and still look good doing it. Actually if everything goes his way Cloud could very well challenge Link for the highest percent of the round. Personally I don’t think he will, but that won’t stop him from getting into the high 40’s and maybe even break 50%. Out of the three characters I would say that Squall has the least chance at advancing. Last round he was unable to defeat Sora by a lot and knowing how well badly he was SFF in 2004 all Sora needs to do here is be SFF by just a little less, which is entirely possible. Of course working with SFF is really hard and for all we know Sora’s performance last round was a fluke and he’ll be crushed just as badly if not worse. Also as badly as Mewtwo performed he did get a higher percent on Cloud than Squall did in 2004; however 2004 was a long time ago. Mewtwo’s only chance at advancing is hoping that Cloud will destroy Squall and Sora. Last round Mewtwo had a terrible showing, though if that was Midna’s fault, she did perform worse last round than in round 1 Mewtwo’s chances look a little better. Mewtwo also has the advantage of being the odd character in this match, whether that will turn into a win is up for discussion. Looking at last year it seems like Sora is the least affected by the overlap. When Aeris was eliminated Squall went from just barely beating Sora to having no problems whatsoever. There is the possibility that a stronger Square character like Cloud could do some damage like Aeris did in 2003, but I have to disagree. In 2003 the main attraction to Kingdom Hearts was that Square characters were making cameos, but since then Sora has been gaining popularity in his own right and has separated somewhat from other Square characters. Will Sora be unaffected by Cloud? Probably not, but he won’t be suffering as much as Squall. Cloud will destroy everyone in the poll while the others try to gain as much percent remaining in an attempt to win.
