I can't believe I'm actually hoping Pikachu gets second tomorrow. If we
did the sprite round this year I'd feel much better about it. HOLY CRAP it all makes sense now. SB wants L-Block to win it, and he knows that Sprite Pikachu would wipe the floor with the Block. For what it's worth, Mega Man came closer to Samus last year with Yoshi
in the poll than Vincent's coming to Samus this year with Ganondorf in
the poll. That said, Vincent looked more impressive last year than Mega

(surprise, surprise) But seriously, I'd expect Yoshi to be better with the intra-Nintendo SFF (remember, Luigi beat Bacondorf), and Samus was also being saddled with her godawful original Metroid sprite while Mega Man got his awesome, uber-iconic one. Yeah, Yoshi faltered against Fox - who, I might add, we didn't really
have a read on until this year. Ganondorf's doing so poorly against
