3 is decent, though not too adventurous. Looks a lot like a picture we got this match... though hey X has a sword. I like #4. The book gimmick is kinda interesting and the characters are visible enough The pencil one is a neat idea but kinda botched in execution. Match L: Liquid Snake vs. Luigi vs. Mario vs. Mega Man X Last Round: Liquid Snake – 30.59% Luigi – 27.88% Bowser – 22.69% Phoenix Wright – 18.84% Well it was expected that Liquid would win after coming so close to Luigi in round 1, but Luigi SFF Bowser by that much was surprising. Phoenix Wright led against Bowser for a few hours before dying off into the day. Also if anyone is interested using Liquid’s and Wright’s first round numbers Bowser and Luigi are more or less equal to each other so I guess the debate continues for another year. Mario – 31.04% Mega Man X – 29.98% Zelda – 20.09% Mudkip – 18.88% I guess X is much closer to Mega Man than I thought. For a good portion of the day X was leading against Mario and it took the BSV for him to comeback. Zelda also made a comeback of her own against Mudkip taking the lead at about the same time as Mario did and showed that joke characters may not be as fearsome as L-Block was last year. Analysis: The battle many years in the making has finally arrived. He was living in the shadows of his brother for too long and now he has had enough. He will fight to win and become known and will prove that he is not just a mere shadow or he will lose and fall back into obscurity never to be seen again. This is the hour that will decide everything for Liquid Snake. Also I think Luigi is also in this match who will also meet with his brother Mario. I guess I should start this. While Luigi won’t be doing anything special he will be the main factor to the outcome of this match. With Mario and Luigi being from the same games Luigi will have a huge affect on Mario’s performance in this round. Being held back by other Nintendo characters is no new news for Mario since for the last two rounds he’s had a match with Zelda. While Zelda was able to hold nicely against Mario Luigi is going to be SFF so much that it will be a shock to see him escape first. While Liquid is the odd ball again for this match he won’t take advantage of it and sneak a win over Mario. Against Luigi without any help for LFF Liquid was already getting a respectable percent, but Mario is expected to steamroll against Liquid and Luigi would have to put up a strong showing for Mario to be affected that much to lose. X on the other hand does have the strength to take advantage against a weaker Mario. Last round we saw X get dangerously close to Mario with Zelda and Mudkip in the same poll and the idea is that Luigi will weaken Mario by even more. Even though Mario may be weaker this round X probably won’t improve his percent by that much more since he has already faced a weak Mario. Even though the odds are against Mario I still think he can take first. What he needs to do is SFF Luigi so bad that despite having a larger overlap Zelda resisting Mario actually did more harm to Mario than Luigi. Also while the overlap between the two characters is huge it won’t be 100% or else Luigi and Mario would have similar strength. Two things could happen in this match, Luigi gets destroyed by Mario and the fight for first will be close or Luigi does better than expected and X walks all over Mario.
