Erm... Duke Nukem is stronger than Zidane, and Altair is stronger than
Wario. And yet against stronger competition, Zack has nearly maintained
his percentage from last round. That's the best possible indication
that he WAS losing some of his fanbase to Zidane in R2, and is

Duke is weaker than Zidane and Wario would kick Altair's ass. I think
you're underestimating just how weak this division is. Zack is going to
get murdered next round. And this is from someone who has Zack out of

What's this about Zidane not LFFing Zack? He has around the same
proportion against Link today that he had last round, so it seems

We don't have any proof that Duke is stronger then Zidane, and Altair
is stronger then Wario. If anything, I'd say Duke mgiht be slightly

I think I like Zidane > Duke and Wario > Altair, but it doesn't
really matter when Zack has soundly beaten all four of them. Zidane was
supposed to have a hardcore fanbase and impressed in R1, but Zack broke
him in half. Wario's got all sorts of exposure and has bounced around
some of Nintendo's biggest series, but that didn't stop Zack from ~45%.
Altair's from one of the best-selling games of recent times and was
multi-platform on major consoles while Duke's from one of the most
memorable FPS games from the "golden age" of gaming that hit the PC
hard and was ported to solid success, but Zack is smashing both of them
today. The only two other respectable contenders in this division (besides Link) are Marth and Shadow. Given what Zack has been doing since his debut, Marth wouldn't have stood a chance of winning. We also thought Shadow would win this division, but after how badly he lost to Zidane and how Zidane was whipped by Zack, Shadow would have still been outclassed -- even if Link did SFF Shadow pretty hard. Zack's proven himself. Apathetic voters have been caught up with Link; very few apathetic voters would also say "Well, Link's winning, so let's see who else should get my vote." Zack's done well both with and without them, and it's hard to do well in this format with a lot of apathy anyway. --- NRT winners: Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow, Star Fox 64, Donkey Kong Country 2 Remember these games! |

Zack nearing the percent he got against Link one on one and Altair is going to need a crazy ASV to make this respectable. Last round at this time he had 47.33% against Duke, but ended with 49.53%. those of us who look at pics ahead of time could have a laugh. Anyways I'm fine with joke pics. And most they're only going to be seen 1/4 or 1/5 the time, so they won't be having a major effect like they could otherwise.
