Just I don't see any of these 3 characters being that strong, and Duke
is as much of casual bait as Altair. And I still don't get the
fascination in Zack outside of "WOAH BUSTER SWORD". Link getting like

I'm a big FF7 fan, its just pissing me off that a character in a couple
scenes of the game is able to have this much strength. Would Cait Sith

I really can't see why there's much hype for the Mario/X match. I mean,
I'm hyped because I love Luigi, but otherwise X>Mario seems a

It's about likeability. People like Zack, they mostly don't care for
Cait Sith. And so what if Zack only appears for a few scenes? Those are
the most important scenes in the game, and Zack is probably the 5th

Likin' Mario > MMX there. Not buying into the idea that Luigi's going to bring down Mario
to a greater degree than Zelda/Mudkip would. Liquid's too outclassed

Liquid's too outclassed there to make a match of anything. I'd agree with you, but you have to look at who Mario's competition is. MMX. Zelda/Mudkip should have a much greater overlap with MMX than Mario than Luigi will. If MMX was some non-nintendo entity, you'd almost assuredly be correct, but that's not the case. Mario can still benefit if he absolutely swallows Luigi whole, but I'm not expecting it. --- mmm test icicles |

I'm not buying Mario overlapping nearly as much with Zelda/Kip as with
Luigi, or even managing to SFF Luigi to any decent degree. I'd sooner
expect Luigi to advance in some crazy fashion than for Mario to get
1st. At least the first has an outside shot in that we've never seen

I'm on the other side there. I'd be surprised if Mario doesn't take away the majority of Luigi's vote. It may not be a complete
obliteration, but I expect to see Luigi in a distant fourth in that
match. Beating Bowser with it and holding up against Ganon is one
