An interesting little tidbit I just found out: both Auron and Sonic put
up 59.5% on their runner-ups (Sub-Zero and Sandbag). I'm assuming the
general consensus for this round is that Auron's relative percentage

| This would be a pretty exciting tag team match. Squall/Fox vs. Sora/Yoshi. Looks like the Sora team is about to pull ahead now, but it's been near 50-50 the entire match. |

| This topic is pretty ridiculous in what it'll
attribute to the pic nowadays. I use to call for absolutely ridiculous
pics to be affecting matches, while the majority of the topic
completely deemed it insane and anyone who believed in pic factor to be
a fool. Now everyone wants to yell PIC!!! at every match we see that has a pic that can be mildly construed as bad or good. --- all hail ec your lord and savior |

I can't remember a time where most of the topic wrote off the pic

I can't remember a time where most of the topic wrote off the pic
factor. In fact, the only specific user I remember doing so was
Chichiri. Well, I used to write it off...until Big Boss anyway. I still don't think it's a huge factor MOST of the time, but it can be. Well, not in this match, but one on one. This ought to shut up the people who think that Squall's second to Vincent for non-nobles Squall will have beaten Sora THREE times now, and you're saying that Sora beats Squall one-on-one? Mind you, Squall did almost the exact same thing against Sora in round 2 last year, and then went on to cream Sora and nearly beat Sonic the next round. Not really sure what's up with that, but you can't take SFF matches at face value (Regardless of what you want to say, there's SOME SFF here, no doubt about it). Look at Link/Zack/Wario/Zidane this round. Zack got approximately 30% on Link directly, which is seriously a near elite level. I really doubt he's that strong. It was a double SFF match, just like this one. You're going to get wonky results. And Fox is the one who's really messing projections up here. He's doing much better than expected. Sora's smokin' it up in the ASV right now. Just like last year. Seriously, the resemblance to their round 2 match last year is uncanny. Yoshi and Fox are hurting Sora a lot more than they are Squall. See
Luigi's matches for proof that this is in fact a definite possibility.
Now, Sora's beastly ASV will put him within 2000 votes of Squall for
sure. So this means that when you take away the LFF, Sora>Squall. Also, I'm amazed that more people didn't have Squall>Sora. Which would have everything to do with Cloud and nothing to do with
Squall or Sora. It's not even a guarantee it happens at this point. I
think people are going a BIT crazy on Sora's FF independence. He's
going to resist Cloud better than Squall (which, again, has everything
to do with Cloud/Squall hero comparisons), but enough to beat Mewtwo? I

I do agree that Yoshi and Fox should be
hurting Sora more (although I'm guessing it's just a bit). Their
designs, trends, and target audience of their games just seem to hint
at it. If that is the case, however, then Squall's picture must really

match, just like this one. You're going to get wonky results. Oh Zack wouldn't get 30% on Link directly....he's stronger than that. Zidane ought to have hurt him more than Wario hurt Link. As we shall see when he beats Duke and Altair combined! Your main point is that Sora beats Squall one-on-one, isn't it? What
evidence do you have to back that up anyway? Other than suggesting that
maybe Fox and Yoshi are hindering Sora by 4%+ here? That'd be
