And really, CF>Ike is a slim possibility. Either you take their
results against Pikachu at face value and Ike wins, or you say that
Pika is SFFing Falcon...while Ike held up well, and that isn't good for

Between a new game in the CV-series and Pika probably sharing more of
Nintendo's fanbase than Diddy (while obviously being far more favored),
it shouldn't be any surprise CF isn't doing better on Alucard now. It
doesn't hurt that early comparisons through Pikachu show Ike > CF,

It's not about F-Zero... at ALL. Let's use a quick and dirty example. Ike has a raw power of 60. He gets 70% of his power from SSB and 30% from FE. Captain Falcon has a raw power of 50. He gets 95% of his power from SSB and 5% from F-Zero. Falcon starts with a power of 2.5 from F-Zero. Ike starts with 18 from FE. Now let's say in terms of SSB support, Falcon is able to SFF 30% of Ike's votes and take them for himself. Falcon gains 12.6 points for himself that would have otherwise gone to Ike. Falcon has to rely mostly on Smash Bros. fans for votes, which Ike will also have. 3.
