Match XL: Alucard vs. Captain Falcon vs. Pikachu vs. Arthas Menethil Last Round: Alucard – 35.54% Captain Falcon – 28.39% Diddy Kong – 18.92% Kratos Aurion – 17.14% Looks like one of my upset picks came true. I knew Diddy wouldn’t be worth much, but what caught me off-guard is how much better Captain Falcon did against Kratos Aurion. I guess Tales of series is officially dead. Pikachu – 32.15% Arthas Menethil – 26.69% Ike – 25.94% Spy – 15.22% Pikachu held up pretty well in LFF and Ike made his second fail comeback in his contest history against Arthas. With the new expansion pack for World of Warcraft released a few weeks ago can the king catch up to the yellow rat? Analysis: On paper this match seems interesting with three characters potentially placing in either first or second, but in reality the match will probably be over once the power hour is settled. Still that doesn’t tell us which characters will be placing. As well as he did last round I don’t see Captain Falcon placing in this match. While he had a Nintendo character as competition last round Falcon was easily the more favourable Smash character. This round while he is probably still the more favourable Melee character Pikachu is much more favourable than Diddy and with nothing else to fall back on we could end up seeing Falcon getting SFF pretty hard. While he’ll be LFF again I still think that Pikachu will still take first. While Brawl didn’t live up to its boost, Ike is still one of the characters that the casuals used and even then he had two Fire Emblem games to fall back upon which he is considered to be one of the best characters in both of those games. Captain Falcon only has Melee and when it comes to casuals picking a character to use Pikachu is no slouch and with nothing to fall back upon Pikachu will end up SFF Falcon more than Falcon LFF compare to Ike’s performance. Deciding whether or not Alucard’s performance was good or not is tough, on one hand we have him destroying Kratos Aurion and Diddy Kong yet on the other he struggled against Captain Falcon. I don’t see him coming in first, but second is still possible. As each year passes by Alucard is looking weaker and weaker. This may be close to his last contest, which is a shame since he’s one of the original 17 characters to have made it to each contest. Arthas looked really good last round and with a new expansion pack for World of Warcraft released a few weeks ago he could potentially take first. We’ve all witnessed Blizzard’s rallying power and it takes some guts to bet against it in a close match, but that is what I’m going to do. The only time I’ve taken something Blizzard to win was Diablo against Kratos Aurion. If Alucard wants to see another contest he’ll need to advance in this match though with a major amount of rallying going on this may be the end for the guy. The patch got WoW onto the top 10 games on Gamefaqs for the first
time in over a year yesterday. And its above Smash Bros Brawl still. Wow, Crono's done really well the past 2 hours, and his lead on Block
is now almost 500 above Block's lead on Ryu. Crono's back over 32%, so
he'll finish less than half a percent below his mark at the end of the
first hour- looks like Crono finally found competition with day votes

It shows lots of WoW players are currently frequenting the site and that WoW is bigger then normal atm.
