Pac hardly fluctuates. He's the power of universal name recognition
combined with universal apathy. Was Ocelot below the line in 2k5? Yes -

Bracket time! Here's my best attempt at a quick bracket based on
Yoblazer's cool list, but with a few exceptions. I got rid of X, C.

Well, Link and Cloud both being among my top 5 favorite VG characters
may have something to do with it. Really though, the contest feels much
more authentic and fair if they are included. While I'd be thrilled
about CTDS boosting Crono over Mario next year, I'd be far far more
thrilled if he beat Sephiroth- or Cloud, or Link. Sure, the probability
of Crono actually beating those characters is almost zero, but that
just makes it all the more awesome if he pulls it off. And if no
character pulls off an upset of Clinkeroth, we get to see Link vs.
Cloud not by itself but with several rounds of buildup as it deserves. --- Crono's quest to kick L-Block out of this contest: Round 2: Crono > L-Block > Ryu > Amaterasu |
