Zelda going from 24.5% in Mario/Knuckles/Fei to 20% in Mario/MMX/Mudkip
is pretty damn impressive. that's about as good as Phoenix did
yesterday. it's like there's 20% of the site that will just vote a Zelda character because they're a Zelda character. makes me feel good about Ganon standing up to Frog.. and probably increases the likelihood of Vincent > Samus. --- xyzzy la la la you're dead la la la la we killed you la la la |

I think Mario has a good chance at coming back here, but this is still
excellent from X. It's about goddamn time he got into one of these

Mario's dominant time is going to be in about one hour. he should tear
X apart then - if by 8am this lead isn't significantly smaller, I'd say

Yeah just what we need more "characters" whose fanbase is represented

I'd have no doubt Mario will take this even with Triple SFF. MM's awful
during the day, even his DSV isn't so hot. Mario's going to be cutting
like a maniac all day and 900 votes isn't going to be nearly enough to

Tetra would definitely be closer to the Midna side of the spectrum. Anyways, Sheik is worth a shot. Bacon has shown he doesn't care about what gets in the contest, so why not get someone in who could be fun to predict. --- sig |

My hate is very much justified for it. Mega Man in whatever form is a
series that was past it's expiration date 15 years ago and the entire
gaming community doesn't even know who he is any more, only the

Megaman follows Chrono Trigger "4 hours and die" trends, except that
it's not as sharp a falloff, and MM recovers somewhat with the ASV. The ASV will be his worst time. Mega Man and Zero have always been pretty neutral with the vote, favouring the first night. Stick them up against Crono, they win the day vote. Stick them up against Sonic, they lose the day vote. --- I want adventure in the great wide somewhere... the morning vote usually ends here, though Mario characters are weird
and keep going sometimes.. I could see X holding onto this lead until
school lets out, or I could see him just kinda lay there dead for the
