I suppose it's quite possible Niko was eating up some of Duke's votes.
Perhaps uninfluenced Duke would take down Marth. It'd certainly be a

Whoa, I went to bed immediately after the poll last night. Didn't
realize Altair was already on his way to catching Marth after the 15
min mark. As for Duke? As I said, XBLA boost confirmed! And now to spew even more ridiculousness, how about Duke will suffer next round due to DN64 - OoT SFF????!!! Zack all the way!!! (For my bracket's sake ;_;) And jeeze, does Lucario suck or what? Next Mewtwo my ass. Imagine what he'd look like if he didn't have Brawl. This confirms a lot of things. You can chalk some of this up to the wackiness format, but you can't
discount how damn much Duke just owns this picture. Even if you
replaced Altair and Lucario with Niko and Kefka again, give Marth and

Daaaaaamn Duke. Looks like he locked up the win overnight. Marth also
fell a lot harder than I expected, and couldn't even go up with the

I think I've learned never to trust the first 180 updates when a CT
character is involved. But as for next round, Link and Zack may both
exceed their percentages from yesterday, as neither will be LFF'd next
round, and Duke and Altair look to be weaker than (or at least about
the same level as) Wario and Zidane, given that Marth would probably

I think Marth was given much more credit than Duke, and Marth got third
in his match as opposed to Duke winning a match (not to mention one of

The match is half-way over and the percentages could still change quite
a bit...but if we assume Marth should be winning today like last last
round by as little as one vote if Lucario was replaced with somebody
else weak, today insinuates Marth would be taking over 11% of Lucario's
current 14.67%. Marth would probably be taking more than 12% of

Well, the Duke/Gordon/Ike combo have represented themselves fairly well
this year. Who knows Gordon might even manage the switcheroo with

Seeing as how Niko struggled with Kefka doesn't give me alot of faith
in the guy. Altair might not be a juggernaut, but seeing these 2

Right, right. I had to ask though, because Duke's beating Altair by
3.39% right now...whereas Duke beat Niko by 3.7% last round. The
percentages are different as are the opponents and pics, not to mention

than a lot of us have given us credit for. Marth shouldn't be so far
down from Lucario LFF if he gets the overwhelming majority of his

more than a lot of us have given us credit for. Marth shouldn't be so
far down from Lucario LFF if he gets the overwhelming majority of his

Lucario is correlated much more to Smash Bros than Pokemon. Same with
Marth, Ike.. when hearing such names, people think "Smash Bros" first. I knew Marth and Lucario were going to suffer this round due to split Smash Bros votes, but wow, I thought at least one of them would advance. I like it this way though, good to see old school characters like Duke chugging along. ALWAYS BET ON DUKE |
