brawl de-boost only applies in round 1 factor confirmed I'm thinking more along the lines of people realizing that the strong characters are going to win no matter what, so they vote for the weaker characters hoping they get second. Explains a lot of under performances in the first round, and hopefully, will disappear this round. --- Good Times, Great Memories |

Hmm...Zack went up well over 6% from this point on in round 1. He
should be safe for 25% at least, with a good shot at 26% and an outside
shot at 27%. Link probably won't go too much higher, and then will drop
at night, before regaining percentage during the day....probably ends

I'm liking Zack more after seeing this. Gotta figure he's being held
down a bit by Zidane, and it doesn't look like he'll lose anything
significant with Link hanging around. Altair's gonna need an impressive

Almost everybody on the Top 50 failed to score full points so only 6
people actually fell off the Top 50. Arkayo, StealThisSheen,
Shin_Servbot, Admiralnobody88, ARodriguezNYY and that "U" person did
not have Kratos > Jill as yesterday's winners. 37 people on the top 50 scored half point and survived. Current first place TalkAboutCesc, current second place PartOfYourWorld, current third place Silent_Alarm, SoldierTwo, RipvanFish, miniver, Chaos0125, Buzzup, MikeKeese, GaiamageX, Demon_HunterX, YoAriel33, M_e_g_a_6_4, SirAlexTrebek, Zylothewolf, KingKracko, Ngamer64, Xuxon, Justin_Crossing, VillainousDarkS, KingMorgoth, NoStrawberry, gobigV, MapGuy9144, edgewalker16, Chickenshack, yoshiownz322, Billy_Gates, ZealousVacuum, CIinkeroth, dscotton, Iubaris, ZFS, transience, bogalx, TCA87 and PumpkinCoach also did not have Kratos > Jill as yesterday's winners. 3 people managed to score only a single point and survive. Link only went up about 2% from here on last round, and Zack's board
vote was much much worse than any of his opponent's last round, as we
would expect given that he's from FFVII. 54% seems right for Link- past

Ive been regretting picking Zidane for second place over Zack since I
cast the ballot. My logic was to pick the character with more
recognition but I didn't take into consideration who was more recent. Now it seems so obvious. |

This doesn't look a whole lot different than Link/Bidoof/Vincent/Zelda,
don't bury ZackFAQs quite yet. Vincent had more going for him but who

If Zidane continues on the track he's going on he's going to end up
weaker than any previous match puts him at. Definitely a good bit of

I don't get the faith in Altair. If Zack can almost avoid a doubling by
Link with Zidane there, he should have no trouble beating Altair.
Altair is Alucard level at best, he just lucked out with a pathetic

Yes, there is Zack/Zidane SFF here. The question is whether Zack is
being hurt by Zidane more than Vincent was hurt by Crono/Vincent LFF
last year. If the answer is yes, then this result implies that Zack may

Altair's design isn't nearly as important when he's up against
characters of note, especially ones that look stronger than him. Zack's
pic next round is probably going to be his most recognizable, though
Altair shouldn't suffer from the sprite round since an in-game pic of
him is nearly as good as normal artwork, provided that he advances

Zack is currently doing better in proportion to Link than Vincent was
doing in the round 3 match. I don't think he's on Vincent's level, but
he's not all that far off, assuming his trends are at least similar to

I do want to see Zidane again next year after Dissidia, though. He's
probably the character that would benefit from it the most (assuming
