He looks pretty disappointing early on to me. That old "XBox lol" thing
seems to be coming back... Chief massively underperformed and Fenix
isn't looking much better out of the gates here. I'm sure this will be his weakest time period though... I assume so anyway... --- :> |

While Ocelot IS MGS4, Raiden is the one that gets the huge
image/style makeover that makes him appeal to the masses. Thinking
about it strictly in terms of storyline significance is probably a
mistake. MGS4 certainly gave Raiden an image makeover, but he's still going up against who is more or less a co-star of the game alongside Snake -- a level of importance not even Ocelot has had before. But I think the appeal Ocelot has in the game is an even bigger factor there. Those show stealing moments are what most take away from MGS4. If nothing else, we should have some idea of MGS4's effects by how well Ocelot does. --- kept you waiting, huh |

Also, Auron's likely going to end up with the same percentage or higher
on these three than Sonic got on Subby, PoP, and VJ. Sandbag is going

I'm kinda torn. Do I wanna see the lulz of Sonic, a noble niner, lose

Same here. Sonic has finally shown what only having craptastic games
come out in the last 15 years can do to a character. He hasn't even

Auron/Sonic looks pretty close to me. you can't make a 100% prediction
based on one's match with a Sandbag. I like Auron there too but let's

also,that was a pretty strange match despite not advancing,Magus actually did well in it...or maybe Sonic sucking is making magus and sandbag look better than they should,but still,i believe both of them had ~40% on Sonic. that's pretty good. |

| Man, I'm surprised at how well Sub-Zero is holding
up. Auron is only scoring 58% after getting 59.6% in 2006. Not much of
a difference, but Auron is supposed to beastly in this format, and

Sonic has a habit of looking like **** in these contests and winning
anyway. I definitely think Auron > Sonic should be considered the
favorite right now but it isn't a lock until it actually happens. --- Demyx is better than Axel. |

I don't think Scorpion disappointed as much as Gordon just impressed.
This sort of proves there's no real weakening of the MK characters; I'd
like to just think that a ton of people had access to Freeman that

I don't think Auron > Sonic is a lock or anything. Sonic only did a
little worse against Magus than Auron did against Shadow last year.
I'll let this match run out before I say anything, but I'm not going to
put my faith in some one who only got 72% against Pyramid Head, and
who's impressive performances last year came against a Bowser who was
sucking it up royally, and Ryu, who slid through on SFF. --- ""--Banjo |

Rush and Rush Adventure were great, its just his amazingly bad run of
console games from Heroes to Shadow to Riders to 06 just destroyed him.
And mediocrity like Secret Rings, Rivals and Chronicles arent doing
much for him. And then he ended up being a disappointment in Brawl. Even some good games cant counter that mound of fail --- Our shields cannot withstand wavedashing of this magnitude! Annoying posters! I am the great wavedash! |

Magus vs. Knuckles - Looked okay. Losing to a joke is a lot more respectable than failing to be a SFFed Zelda Crono vs. Sonic - No contest Megaman vs. Sonic - Had this match already. Same result. Magus vs. Knuckles: Agh. This is a tough one. Both have had noticeable drops, but I think I might have to side with Magus on this one, in a nailbiter though. Crono vs. Sonic: If this is not the sprite round I take Sonic, definitely. If it is the sprite round I would have to think about it. Megaman vs. Sonic: Another relatively choice, this time for Mega Man. Auron vs. Sonic: Tough one, but I would give Sonic the benefit of the doubt for now. Magus vs. Frog: Magus. We've never really had much reason to think that the fanbase splits otherwise. --- ""--Banjo |

At the 1:10 mark last year, Ocelot lead Marcus by 183, built his lead
to a max of around 1200 in the morning, and lost by 776 votes. If you
want a little closer comparison, Magus had a lead of 138 on Sandbag at
this time yesterday and got up to 2100 votes before choking. Rydia leads Marcus by 465 at 1:10. She'll have a chance at this if she can keep going during the night. --- Mustache...and green... |

Magus vs. Knuckles: 1 vs 1? I'd take Knuckles. Crono vs. Sonic: 1 vs 1? Sonic. 4-way, probably Crono, unless the other two in the match affects Crono significantly enough. Megaman vs. Sonic: I'll take Sonic here too, 1 vs 1. 4-Way, probably Mega Man. Auron vs. Sonic: Same as the above 2. 1 vs 1, Sonic. 4-way, depends on who's in the match, but I'll favor Auron.
