I thought Crono disappointed, Frog did about expected, and Magus
actually impressed. The thing is the entire Noble Nine disappointed, so

If Raiden can beat Kain and impress like that against Master Chief, I
see no reason why Ocelot, who's apparantly way more important to MGS4,
wouldn't also boost quite a bit. Hurry up with that 360 version Konami,

HM is right in saying Ocelot IS MGS4. If anyone gets the mega boost
from it, it'll be him. Especially with the pic he has for this match. --- Demyx is better than Axel. |

Liquid beat alucard last year whos a solid midcarder, and I just don't
see any noticable boost this year. The only MGS character I've seen a

The difference between Raiden and Ocelot: While Ocelot IS MGS4, Raiden is the one that gets the huge image/style makeover that makes him appeal to the masses. Thinking about it strictly in terms of storyline significance is probably a mistake. Rydia's not gonna last all that long. It's only a matter of time before
SFF kicks in and Auron eats all her votes. Kain may have not dropped
off, but he also didn't have to contend with one of Square's most

| This is a tough matchup. I like three of them. Being a FF mark Auron and Rydia are my favs. Auron is a default win for 1st place and I decided to bail on Rydia and throw my vote to Sub Zero, my favorite MK character to take 2nd. |

Raiden. Raiden still isn't very appealing when it comes to design. and
don't try to tell me that cyborg suit thing is cool, cause it ain't.

I was making a point. Sure Liquid beat Alucard by 3 votes in round 1,
but then he turned around and got his ass kicked in round 2. Clearly
there's something wrong with one of the matches, and he likely boosted

Revolver Ocelot (2007c) VS Kratos (2007c) Revolver Ocelot has a strength of 20.21. Kratos has a strength of 27.44. Kratos wins with 63.17% of the vote! A win of 37,879 with 143,762 total votes cast. That would have to be one big ass boost, not even counting Kratos boost with Chains of Olympus. I don't see ANY way thats possible. I wouldn't use 2007 stats as a reliable barometer, but Kratos just looked
great last year. The way he beat Riku despite Snake's presence (after
Hayabusa couldn't manage it) was pretty impressive, and the guy should
be either equal or above his 2007 self. Ocelot winning that would be a

Yeah Rydia will likely be 4th, but the fact that Marcus is struggling
with a near 20 year old rpg side character doesn't give me any boost of
