No I mean I checked that poll last night at like 2 in the morning and
could of sworn I saw Magus finishing in second by quite a bit, with

I'm talking about after the current match had already started, I went back to the old poll and saw Sandbag a distant third. | Which makes Magus look better, having Sonic beat
Auron or having Sonic lose to Sandbag by more than Magus did? Anyway, I
think Auron's pretty much guaranteed at least placing next round-
Sandbag has a shot at Sonic because while he'll almost certainly lose
to Auron by less than he beat Magus, Sub-Zero is much much stronger
than Shepard, and will pull in a much higher percentage of non-joke

Wow. I'm really impressed with Rydia. Too bad it just 3rd place. But Kain and her definitely have earned another shot next year. Marcus could have just dropped. Gears doesn't seem to be nearly as big
as last year (I haven't noticed any GoW2 hype, either), and the fanbase
just strikes me as too casual to stick with Marcus through thick and
thin. He should be stronger next year, although I really hope we're not

This isn't the first time this contest the day vote hasn't done much,
though, right? I seem to remember multiple matches in which everyone
thought "oh, when the day vote gets here, this'll look very different"

Chief had a great day vote. KH not so much though. there's definitely a shift here - Marcus doing much better in the day, Rydia much worse - but Auron and Sub are about equal at both times.
