This is pretty clearly vote stuffing/cheating, but Bacon doesn't give a
crap about this contest thankfully. It was such a great idea to let all
these jokes in, they are all so funny! Hilarious! This just never gets
old! --- :> |

Only 22 votes that time. The one major advantage Magus has here is that
Sandbag should fall off his ASV peak much faster than Axel did. Fox
didn't let Sora increase the percentage gap against him until 6;
afterwards, Sora gained quite a bit. --- Evvivan: Character Battle VII --- Score: 88/112 --- T-300 (103 way) Bracket: Sonic > Magus --- Vote: Magus |

I will say this -- Magus won't go down quietly. that last hour will be
all his, and if this is close, I expect the internet to side with Magus
like they did with Frog. Sandbag will have to pass him and keep on
going to be truly safe - expecting to beat Magus with like a 200 vote
lead probably won't be good enough. --- zfs: man i'm reading an argument about whether or not midna is fat zfs: come on mgs4 |

Also, there's a difference between Magus and Frog on the board. People
love rallying for Frog because of his legendary status and because he
has never let us down (unless people put him in the finals or something). Magus... that ain't Magus. --- Yoblazer: http://i33.tinypic.com/16hnm05.jpg Watch and you'll see... someday I'll be... part of your world! |

Realistically, Sandbag has 2 more hours to really gain here (with 7 to
8 being a substantially weaker hour). Axel was only able to gain slowly
on Frog past 8 and Sandbag is not as good at that time period. Magus
still has a 703 vote lead, so my guess is Sandbag takes the lead
sometime around 8, and gets a small lead (probably not more than 300)
and Magus stalls him or slowly gains until around 11, and storms back
in the last hour. I think Magus will probably not need as big a rally
as Frog got. This next hour may be very cruel to him though.....but the
next one should be a lot better, and the one after that a lot better
than that. --- Evvivan: Character Battle VII --- Score: 88/112 --- T-300 (103 way) Bracket: Sonic > Magus --- Vote: Magus |
nintendogirl1 | Posted 10/16/2008 3:02:27 PM | message detail |
Actually it's clearly not stuffing. Magus just fell off the map. Sandbag had 10 more votes then normal. Magus has 50 less. --- He just sucks. |

It's vote stuffing any time; Sandbag shouldn't be doing this well when
pitted up against Sonic. Where is this dreaded SFF that I was supposed
to see on Sandbag? I don't see it anywhere. Sorry, I'm not not going to assume any of these updates are "natural". --- :> |

No one expected Sandbag to be SFFed. They expected en masse a small
amount of LFF and possibly rSFF. Which looks like it's present. Hence
Sonic sucking even more then we thought he would. --- Ah well. |
Smurf Alt | Posted 10/16/2008 3:07:18 PM | message detail |
Sandbag is conforming to trends exactly and isn't picking up random spikes at all, and look at Shepard and Sonic's %'s, they're on course too where they'd be falling off if Sandbag was rallying. The only thing out of the ordinary with the day vote is how truly awful Magus is with it, Sandbag is doing nothing spectacular here, it just looks impressive given how poor Magus is doing. |

Xuxon | Posted 10/16/2008 3:08:23 PM | message detail |
You think someone has been constantly stuffing,
and decided to start exactly coinciding with a major trend shift?
Someone needs to lay off the lollipops. Besides, SFF was never guaranteed, and if it existed it was never hypothesized to be very large. And for all we know, Sandbag could be doing even better without Sonic here. --- DQVIII LLG - level 1/6/10/19, before Captain Crow Brawl FC: 0344-9611-6716 |
