I think Magus is in trouble here, because I expect Sandbag to have more

Why is anyone even considering Sandbag not handily winning the day vote
over Magus? It's A CT character vs. a SSB character that the entire

Honestly, Lucario wasn't even that bad. I'd still say he's above the
fodder line based off his performance. We just expected way too much
from him. --- Demyx is better than Axel. |

This makes me wonder: how would Sandbag compare to Master Hand? It's hard to judge how he'd translate into a 1v1 setting, but I think he'd be weaker just on instinct. Without Brawl, Snake would beat Mega Man 55-45, like he already proved a couple of years ago. With MGS4, Snake expands that crushing to about 57-43. With Brawl, Snake beats MM 58-42. Mega Man just got MM9, so he might be able to fight back to 43%, but it's unlikely. The thing is, if Sandbag follows SSB trends, he's going to completely
die overnight. That may not give Magus a big enough lead to survive the
day vote, but Sandbag must have some joke tendencies at least. After
Magus/Knuckles, Crono/Sonic, and Crono/Vincent, I won't feel safe about

If Magus can build a decent lead over night the 'bag is done. Less
pronounced shifts + having to deal with an XBox character and Sonic for
the day vote isn't going to be kind to him. I'd call Magus the favorite

vote over Magus? It's A CT character vs. a SSB character that the

Let's see, Magus' max lead on Knuckles was around 600, and he went down
by 2800 or so at his worst (someone can check me here), but that was
1v1. Yeah, I won't be sold on Magus taking second until he gets at least a 1200 vote lead or comes within 100 votes of Sonic. If Magus gets a 1,000 vote lead I'm tempted to say he has the match
won. I can't see a character feared for being a joke being able to
compete with the day votes of a 360 character and Sonic. Especially
when the ASV and Morning vote have been proven to be severely diluted

The thing that scares me is that CT's best time only lasts for another
2 and a half hours or so before it plunges into its horrible, horrible,
deep night/early morning/Europe vote, where it is probably about as bad
as during the ASV. This is also Nintendo's worst time fortunately, but
I have no faith in Magus being able to add very much to his lead past 4
AM, especially with the low votals in the dead zone. CT has a bad habit

had any polarizing characters go up against eachother, and Nintendo in
general has been disappointing, and that's were half of the day vote

4am-7am I believe. Also called the Europe vote, it's a terrible
terrible time for Chrono Trigger characters, since the original game

If Nintendo is getting weaker they're going to be weaker at night and in the day, they're not just going to stay stable during the night and become weakened in the daytime. --- mmm test icicles |

hmm... this is one difficult match to predict. I think I like The Bag here. it all depends on if CT still dies hard after a few hours.. Crono's percentage of Crono/Vincent votes by the hour (from memory, so rough numbers): 1:00 | 56% 2:00 | 54% 3:00 | 52% 4:00 | 51% 5:00 | 43% 6:00 | 41% Crono finished a little under 49%. Wait a little longer for CT:DS excitement to set in and I'd probably have to reverse that.
