...That doesnt make any sense BT

Sure it does. Goku and Vegeta have an intense rivalry. Frog and Magus have an intense rivalry. Crono and Magus never even interact with eachother.

No great hochi. I can't put the pieces together. How the **** does Brawl help a character who wasn't in it?

Pray tell.

Sonic looks so weak here. He'd be lucky to make the Noble 18 with this performance.

Crono is more like Gohan. He looks more like Gohan than Goku too. But hopefully Magus will start to pick up in the next half hour or so.

Brawl probably gave CT characters a mild boost.

Okay, now I know you guys are just in this for the lulz.
Yesmar | Posted 10/15/2008 9:30:55 PM | message detail
This match kind of reminds me of Sonic's first match last year. Except based on his performances in between rounds, Sub-Zero was probably overperforming then too.

That's a lot saner. For the first update Sonic gained.
---
Now that's an odd sentence to type.
XxSoulxX | Posted 10/15/2008 9:31:08 PM | message detail
Actually it was Brawl. Can you put the pieces together? I know what's going on but I'm curious if anyone else does. It isn't hard actually.

I know you're trying to think of some weird, abstract reason for this, but just stop while you're ahead. Believe me, I've done the same thing numerous times in the past, and ended up looking like an idiot each time.

The simplest answer is usually the right one. CT:DS = People remember the game and want to replay it = people voting for Chrono Trigger characters.

That, or you can say that Nintendo fans left the building, and the decrease for CT characters are leaving with them.

Law of Non-Noble Nine Multi-polarity. Exclude the noble nine and sub-noble nine for a moment. This leaves characters like Luigi, Kirby, Yoshi, Fox etc to act as poles. This level is HIGHLY domianted by Nintendo characters. (The sub-n9 poles are dominated by Auron, Squall, Tifa etc) When they weaken, characters of similar strength MUST increase as a result. In lame-in terms, Nintendo loses strength and that strength must be allocated somehwere else. In this case, to CT characters. Take an International Relations class sometime... law of multi-polarity was Europe pre-WWI.

CT isn't ACTUALLY increasing. It's increasing RELATIVE to the dwindling Nintendo characters. They look better by default. Law of multi-polarity. It's an international relations term.

You can't say Nintendo/NN weaken just randomly. There has to be a reason for them weakening.

Again, Nintendo fans not caring anymore explains all of this. Simple solution, no need to go back to college to figure this out.
