MS controls the franchise, not Bungie. They can say whatever they want,
but Chief will be in more games. Its not they really wrapped up his

I really don't think Microsoft is going to hand off development of Halo
4 to anyone but Bungie and if Bungie is making it, you aren't playing

so here's my quick observation: The main character of a game has been known to perform far better than the fan favorite in GF contests (Cloud/Sephiroth or Vincent; Crono/Magus or Frog; Phoenix/Edgeworth; Luke/Jade Curtiss), except when there are something else that can draw vote for that fan favorite (Vivi/Zidane). Therefore, unless Zack is super awesome and/or Master Chief is super sucky, I would have to believe that Kain has something else going on for him to perform as beastly as this. As has been said before, the name "Highwind" is one possibility and the other one being his "Dragoon" look-a-like (like Vivi) getting votes from the rest of FF fans. Kirby failed to impress yesterday, so master chief doesn't really need
a whole lot to beat him. If MC gets less percentage than kirby
yesterday, I would say there's a good chance that upset will happen. In
fact, if MC% is less than Kirby's by the end of the match, Kirby >
Big Boss > MC or Big Boss > Kirby > MC train will start to

yeah if he got that snake with an eyepatch pic again. did you see
yesterday? getting 48% in any 4-way match is no joke, especially with
one strong midcarder in the match as well. not even vincent/squall can

Rather static since last I checked. Chief is flopping back and forth
with updates. Wins some nice ones, then he just sucks 5 minutes later.
Raiden has pulled off from Kain a little bit... it was nice to see Kain
do well, but I'm pretty sure the night vote was his strongest time. --- :> |

| Just random thinking, but I'm thinking Kain still has an outside shot at an upset. If Chief dominates the day-vote, he's probably going to hurt Raiden more than Kain (Raiden is from the same era, a closer genre compared to Chief than either Kain or Kain/Chief) and that if Kain gets rallied at all, he could make up the difference. I doubt he could pull a Frog level comeback, but I could see Kain, who in between losing updates here and there, is keeping relatively close to Raiden. |

SquareFAQs and MGS4FAQs at work here, folks! And MC's going the way of Crash Bandicoot to the garbage pile of failed mascots! ...This match makes me wish I had Ocelot going to round three now. It'll be interesting to see what he can do to Kratos in a few days. All things MGS4 have impressed so far. And I must say that this match makes me happy, with Kain and Raiden
doing so well with the Chief flopping. He should be the lone day vote
guy here (though if Layton is more day than night, I wouldn't be
surprised, but he doesn't matter), so that ASV will be good to him.

Yesterday's chart: Time | Big Boss | Jinjo | Kirby | Lucas PHV | 45.09% | 13.39% | 35.60% | 5.92% | (0:00-1:00) FNV | 50.29% | 9.70% | 34.63% | 5.38% | (1:00-6:00) BSV | 49.68% | 8.21% | 37.46% | 4.65% | (6:00-9:00) DSV | 46.28% | 9.59% | 38.63% | 5.50% | (9:00-14:30) ASV | 48.49% | 8.61% | 36.83% | 6.07% | (14:30-22:00) SNV | 49.73% | 8.41% | 35.56% | 6.29% | (22:00-24:00) The night vote for Big Boss was beastly. Seriously, averaging 50% updates for about 8 hours is sick. Jinjo was board vote and not much else. Kirby did well with the morning and early afternoon vote. Neither he nor Big Boss did well with the Power Hour (relatively), mostly because of Jinjo, I'd imagine. Big Boss actually did well in the afternoon. MGS has been doing pretty well with the day vote so far this year. Liquid's been the only one who's really gone down with it, and then not that much. Am I the only one who thinks

doing better here? Altair managed to tear up faces due to awesome
design, so... Also not seeing how people were laughing at an MM9 boost. If it is as hard as people claim, people will be coming to Game"FAQs" for help. With these results, the next round will be; Master Chief, Raiden, Big Boss, Kirby Raiden and Big Boss SFF each other. Master Chief > Kirby is easily the result. Later in the round of 16; Sephiroth, Master Chief, Dante, Sonic Master Chief looks weaker than expected and with Master Chief and Dante SFFing each other, Sephiroth > Sonic will be the result.
