Mewtwo and Travis look amazing. Excellent job on their pics. There's something I've been wondering since Hayabusa beat Zero but
never really considered while I was making my bracket. Anyone think
Riku beats Leon outright in round 1? We know Riku's got a good amount
of strength, and Hayabusa showed the other day that he's no slouch in
this format. If he can beat Leon outright in round 1, Riku probably

The Ryu that Riku beat last year isn't the same one we've seen this

Every single Square character has seemed stronger this year, I wouldn't
count Riku out at all in that match. Especially with how Sora did a few

I don't even think Riku needs to beat Leon to have a chance against
Dante in round 2. Remember Leon smashed Pikachu in round 2 last year

That's the best early round picture any MGS character has ever gotten. I'm ecstatic. Also, Pac-Man looks good, but I'm still not expecting much out of him. Considering NMH is one of the few good Wii games period, I think Travis
is going to do better than expected. Probably won't beat Pac-Man/Ness

To finish up my thoughts about GH from the last topic (hey, I'm on the
road for work and not at my computer dammit!), the thing about the
whole casual vs. hardcore thing is that GH does have a core following that frequents this site. The GH boards are just as popular as any other game. And they are all
hardcore elitists. Go on the GHIII boards and make a topic saying that
you can't beat Raining Blood or One and 95% of the responses will be
"get better" or "hit moar notes". I'm pretty sure most of the people
that frequent those boards aren't simply casual fans. When the majority
of the talk is about 5-starring or FCing songs, you're not a casual
fan... Some of you guys aren't giving GH enough credit. It won't be up there with the Final Fantasys, Zeldas, and Metal Gears but there are plenty of games GH2 or GH3 would beat. --- Proud Supporter of Zero |

From what I recall, No More Heroes sales were pretty underwhelming. I'm
not expecting a whole lot out of Travis. Ness and Pac-Man are prone to

You think Travis could beat Ocelot? The Pac-Man that beat Ocelot is not necessarily the same Pac that has a good chance of getting SFFed by Mewtwo/Ness. Oh, I won't disagree about GH probably beating some of those older, niche games that the 2004 games contest was rife with. Karma Hunter (#085) Mewtwo and Ness are no Luigi, Yoshi, or Mario. I think this poll being all Nintendo really works in Pac's favor.
