Oh man, I'm lovin' this match. I should have never doubted you, Squall! And the only problem is that I don't
want Sora to beat out Yoshi because that will kill ANY chance Squall
has to advance in round three with Squall. Still don't see it happening
though if Yoshi's there. Squall and Auron are about equal, and I'd say
Yoshi's probably got the advantage over Ryu. Plus, Cloud is going to
SFF Squall worse than he did Auron. There's no doubt about that. Just
have to hope Squall's got enough of a hardcore base. I'm okay with Squall having a pretty boy look, but he looks way too feminine in that Dissidia art. Bleh. And this match makes Mega Man look really bad. Actually, that is another bit of evidence for the return of SquareFAQS:
this year's trends have been less pronounced than those of the past
couple of years, as were the trends back in 2003-4. And Squall is now
at 58.26% of Squall/Yoshi votes, less than 2% behind what he got on
Luigi in 2003. And this simple calculation is supposed to underrate the
stronger character somewhat, right? Hopefully Cloud will dominate
tomorrow, and then Auron and Sephiroth will too, so we can start up the

Depends how badly Fox can impede Yoshi. I obviously know that Mario is
a different animal, but Fox completely fell apart against him last

Sora held up extremely well against Squall with Aeris in the poll; in
the next round, with Sonic/Sub-Zero/Squall, Sora still managed to beat
Sub-Zero comfortably, and managed close to 40% of Squall/Sora votes,
only a little less than Yoshi is getting today- this is impressive when
you consider that Squall only lost by around 2000 votes to Sonic, even
with Sora in the poll. If you look at Squall's next match, he again
loses to Sonic by about the same margin without Sora in the poll, which
would seem to indicate that Squall/Sora really didn't hurt each other
