I thought Yoshi's performance here is kinda expected? He should go up
around 3-4 percents during the ASV while CATS is falling (unless he
isn't falling <_<) Also, I'm not really worried about Yoshi advancing to the quarter at the moment because it's known that Yoshi couldn't lay a beatdown against a nobody (76-24 on Ryo Hazuki; 73-27 on Laharl) but can beat heavy-duty characters like Dante/Luigi, so this points out that his fans may not be numerous, but they are quite loyal (of course except when he's squaring against a more popular nintendo character like Link/Mario/Samus/MM). And then there are those Mario characters polls... The point is Cloud will be in that match, and he will take about half of the votes, so the second place won't need a very high percentages to advance. Squall is getting SFF'd by Cloud hard, Yoshi has loyal fans, Mewtwo lost to Bowser that was SFF'd by Toad, so Yoshi is the clear choice there. In fact, I'm more concerned about Yoshi in Round 2, than in Round 3. If there's any Nintendo character who I've wanted to see fail, it's
Yoshi. This is a great performance from Squall, Nintendo looks more

CATS is likely not to drop as much as last year, as he was facing the
king of the everything-after-the-first-hour vote - sephiroth. maybe

Nah, CATS went pretty stable after about 15 minutes. I don't think he's
going to go much lower than this. He'll gain with the night, drop with
the day. CATS really doesn't have joke character trends. He gets the board vote but that's it. Also would people quit calling CATS static because that bugs me. This is about what I expected to see in this one -- a good 10% gap.
Given how Nintendo's performed up until this point, it shouldn't come
as that big a surprise, I don't think. CATS is the one I'm most surprised by in this one. --- kept you waiting, huh |
